Hi 👋 how low can the wattage of a RTX2070 goes? Someone is offering to buy at 500$, I know the card can do 34-36MH but at what wattage? Anyone using this card should please share their power draw

There's plenty videos about mining cards just do little search. e.g. this one shows 2070 taking around 150W.
Note at some mining software you can reduce the intensity and get at any lower amount.

And 150watt at 40MH good? I don't think so because two gtx1660 draws 140watts at 63MH, is there anyway or settings to lower the power consumption of the rtx2070 to atleast get lower watt at lower hashrate

and they cost more than 500 closer to 800 for 2 of them.

but i do think i rather own them than own 2070 cards.

I recommend you to have a look to the wiki of lolMiner... he explains how to fix the core to reduce the Watts in the 2070 to aroung 85W instead of the normal 120W with his miner.

You can fix it by the OS or by lolMiner with the last update:

The only reason why I would want to hold a RTX2070 over gtx1660s is because it has 8gb memory, the gtx1660s will run out of their magic juice once ETH nears 6gb DAG but that might not happen if ETH PoW get eradicated

Philipma I think this is the time when those who leave too soon will regret their decision, those who fear the coming of bear market and sold their gpu and those who sold their coins too early, it looks like bear market isn't going to be over for months to come, what do you think? If I knew prices would hold I would just over pay for gear.

I was unable to reduce the power consumption and the power limit settings were set to a minimum.
They will tell you about 125 watts, but this is not true. Take measurements from snapshots. For example, my farm uses about 850 watts. 110 watts are consumed by the motherboard, processor and hard drive. As a result, each video card consumes 740/5 = 148 watts. Cougar silver power supply. With a Gold power supply, there would be a better result
