It might be possible but it's only having a small chance to happen. ETC lacks of usability and it's not the same like ethereum which is really useful for the cryptocommunities. I should remind you that this is a fork coin from ethereum.

It is certainly  possible if the ETC Team can come up with work  Plan to make its use case as strong as of ETH. ETH is massively used to create smart contracts and dApps and has strong client base and they still prefer to use its network for making transactions despite its huge gas fee. If i were at your place i would have taken profit out of ETC. It has pumped too much. If you have taken enter in ETC at 40 dollars, then you are in a 3x profit. This is a huge profit for a coin like ETC.
I never considered ETC a good fundamental coin but still i am surprised it has given good returns so far.

After seeing the unexpected pump, I can say that everything is possible for ETC since it looks like it always follow the trend of ETH. Though they both already made a new all time high, its hard to say now that it is still good to buy because it can drop unexpectedly as well so be careful on buying at the top price.

Your argument is absolutely correct. We are seeing madness happen in this bull run. The old shitcoins are over-pumped. The value of ETC may be being manipulated. Many have argued that miners are moving from ETH to ETC and increasing the value of the project. This is true, but it will no longer be true since the real value of development and application in a monetary system is not much. This is basically an unreliable project for investment. The price increase of ETC right now is similar to DOGE right now. We should not follow trends and invest in a project of no clear value like ETC.

Don't compare ETC with ETH. Ethereum has proved that it is a valuable coin while same can't be said about ETC. If Ethereum is $8k of course Ethereum is up 100% from its current price. Then the ETC will reach $300 from the price of $140. So I estimate that if market conditions continue to improve, ETC will only increase by $300. However if the market dumps, the ETC will be up to $200.

Progres of ETC were unexpected and with the heavy pump in the ETH we can clearly see that ETC is also making good progress towards top coins.
But can ETC reach 500? if ETH get on 8000+.   

When other major projects like ETH, LTC, and TRX made good rally ETC was an exception. It didn't pump like other major coins so I was expecting a big jump in ETC too which happens a few days ago as you said. This project is not as good as ETH or LTC but it still 35% down from its all-time high. So I am expecting it will at least touch or break its ATH level for some time. Better to stay or take entry on the part.

This investment gave me more than x50. But not now. Good time for investment was in 2018-2020. Good time for investment will be in 2023-2025. Until then newbie should do 2 things. Save as much money for 2023-2025 and observe how bubble is forming and how its crashing. To try to learn those emotions. FOMO all around the place.
