ETC is it worth buy now on an unexpected value ?

We have seen that recently ETC made big progress in its value as it just booms from 40 USDT to 130+ USDT. But now is it worth it to be invested in ETC.
Progres of ETC were unexpected and with the heavy pump in the ETH we can clearly see that ETC is also making good progress towards top coins.
But can ETC reach 500? if ETH get on 8000+.

It might be possible but it's only having a small chance to happen. ETC lacks of usability and it's not the same like ethereum which is really useful for the cryptocommunities. I should remind you that this is a fork coin from ethereum.
That means if the only value from ETC is using it to be a secondary payment system when the major coin like ethereum was facing scalability problem.
I will avoid to deal with ETC because these days people are looking for the utility instead of transaction ability.
TBH it's too risky to bet into the ETC.

It is certainly  possible if the ETC Team can come up with work  Plan to make its use case as strong as of ETH. ETH is massively used to create smart contracts and dApps and has strong client base and they still prefer to use its network for making transactions despite its huge gas fee. Lot of people talk about its unlimited supply but because of its strong use case its price is making new highs.

Actually it was only $5 when January 2021 entered. The pump is very recognizable because it's such a tremendous gain that we've seen.

Yeah it was unexpected. Well to answer that, everything is likely to happen in this market and the bull run seems to show that sky is the only limit even though it was known for being 51% attacked.

I think it is quite late if you invest on ETC now, the market had surged already and if you are aiming for a 10x to 20x return in this bull run by investing in it, I think there is a very slim chance to hit them.  I was also surprised when someone told me that ETC had surged over $170, and I kinda regret pulling out the fund I am about to allocate on it a month ago.  But well the decision is still going to the investors but I believe it won't follow what ETH had achieved this year.

If i were at your place i would have taken profit out of ETC. It has pumped too much. If you have taken enter in ETC at 40 dollars, then you are in a 3x profit. This is a huge profit for a coin like ETC.
I never considered ETC a good fundamental coin but still i am surprised it has given good returns so far.

I think it is still worth investing into Ethereum. The price has reached 3.9k dollars. I think it will reach 5k dollars at least. And I expect it to happen in this year also. The price continues to climb up like there is no obstacle ahead.

No one use ETC. This project is dead and the fact that even a dead projects are growing is the proof that we are closer and closer to the end of alt seazon. How would you call a transaction in which you buy a dead project only because its price is pumping and maybe it will pump more? Investment? Speculation? No ... Its gambling based on hot potato game. Other call it greater fool theory.

It did have a quite massive quick pump that seems to end in a just as quick dump..

But remember that other projects grew just as much or even more than ETC did, yet they're back down and will likely be even lower soon. These growths are not sustainable so why bother? It's not like ETC did something amazing in the crypto industry. In fact, I'd argue that even Ethereum did more crap to the industry than good, besides attracting a mass of new users.

I guess so. But it will not come in shortly because many high prices need to break and need time. I see ETC have a chance to increase and reach $500 sooner or later and I see that the support for ETC become bigger than the last year. But we do not know how long ETC can reach that price because there are no estimated time for that.

Almost all of the old cryptos are taking their turns to rise in prices. Bitcoin was followed by ethereum and other coins. Some coins waited a longer time before rising up, like tron which was followed by EOS and Cardano, ETC as you mentioned. If we are to look at the pattern, we should venture to popular coin that haven't rose significantly or which is still much lower than it's all time high.

What makes you think so? ETC is dead. Its eth fork but without use cases, without developement, without good projects build on it. Without anything. Just forked ETH. And it should be worth 80% of ETH with thousands projects build on, with millions transactions daily, with huge dexes, infrastructure.

Anyone who buys ETC ... its not a matter of time when it will start to grow. Its a matter of time when it will dump to close to 0 levels. You can trade a waves, but be ready for massive dump that will never recover.

The value of the current ETC is too high and does not reach the appropriate value. ETC still doesn't have any projects on their platform yet. It is simply a coin mined by miners. The recent price boom is possible because miners diverted from ETH over ETC as the POS mechanism inevitably happened with ETH to replace POW.
Buying ETC at current prices is quite risky.

if you are a trader or you are going to hold this is not the right time to buy ETC the price is too high at the moment, you can wait for a low price but if you are in a hurry and with funds, it still recommend to wait for a good price, some people bought the coin, just to have one, but they don't look at the price which is very important, because there might be a more cheaper price for a couple of days.

I think etc going to this price because hashing power also will be goes to etc, especialy if eth 2.0 is up wich mean miner will not be able to mine ethereum anymore and miner forced to mined etc in the future. If ethereum can get $10000 etc will goes above $500. But i hope etc can prevent another 51% attack like month ago.

of course, it is not impossible, we see now ETH and BTC continue to grow with higher prices maybe ETC will follow them too. Nobody is too late in crypto and nobody knows what the future is like. if you believe and believe immediately invest.

After seeing the unexpected pump, I can say that everything is possible for ETC since it looks like it always follow the trend of ETH. Though they both already made a new all time high, its hard to say now that it is still good to buy because it can drop unexpectedly as well so be careful on buying at the top price.

How come it's impossible. Have you seen the run did ETC made? I really think anyo project has some sort of chance to beat these Kings. Imagine dogecoin a meme that has no real use case was able to beat some more efficient projects. Its not all about the community its also based on hype and some factor. Etc maybe a fork but their platform is really good.

Why buying when it's already on its peak though, it seems you get fomo'd and i don't think etc could reach the price you mentioned easily, it has the chance yes but people definitely prefer eth not to mention what's coming in july and the money to pump etc will definitely move again to the real eth not some hardforked ones that have very few dapps. though if you feel etc gonna explode and get massive bullrun when eip1559 first go to public because miners are moving, then maybe it's worth a try, don't just get carried away by the hype but also analyze whats going on behind.
