A good advice especially on this day wherein alot of ppl seeking opportunity to make an income while at home because of the pandemic. and you know what i believe that mostly preferred online gambling as its so easy to make money.
Opportunity to make money? To what level those people are successful with their attempts? I am sure almost 99% of such people who are trying for gambling to make money definitely ending up losing all their bankroll. I agree that when people are staying at home due to pandemic, they might have more free time but at the same time they should not go for gambling to make use of their free time useful. Definitely that should be a bad choice.

After some period of gambling, those gambler definitely need some external help to get out of their gambling activities. Gambling online increases  your brain activity which in turn give support to the blood flow in human body preventing the blood clotting in the vessels which is one of  possible COVID19  side effects.  So it's companion to physical activity rather then opposer. Of course you have to alternate your activities and  exercise between gambling sessions.
What form of gambling will increase your brain activity, for me the stress level increases if i am gambling with a higher valuation. You theory of comparing online gambling and physical activities is laughable and there is nothing useful you could gain when you are gambling which will help you with your health, but the pleasure of adrenaline is what you get when you are gambling.

Whether you have a history of pathological gambling addiction or just considering gambling for fun, Gonidis has shared some valuable tips for all of us:

  • When you are tempted to gamble online, use that to motivate you to go for a walk or exercise instead.
  • If you decide to gamble, you should keep a record of how much money and time you spend on gambling daily. Studies show that gamblers lose track of how much time and money they spend on gambling.
  • Social distancing should not lead to social isolation, so talk to your friends and peers and discuss your gambling problem with them. Having support can make a big difference.
  • Finding other mental stimulation to keep your mind busy can be very helpful in suppressing thoughts of gambling. If you need to be online then seek out online activities that help you to overcome the urge to gamble.

I specially like the 3rd and 4th point. I used to forget those aspects as well. It wasnt just gambling, it was gaming too.. During the start of lockdown..I completely shut down all my contacts and used to just work, gamble and game. Forgot that I do have friends and I should maybe chat and see how they are coping with the lockdown and the pandemic. Took me a while to get out of it. I had focused my energy and mental stimulation into gaming. Which is nice, especially when the objective is to social distance but on the whole, not the best idea. I have picked up multiple lost hobbies that I had picked up long ago.

Bad habits are usually a result of lack of patience, the simplest advice I would give for any casual bet is keep the size small until you are confident of the risk taken for the expected positive result.    
  Alot of the regrettable gambling is just not knowing the game properly or the risks and rewards, never do a large amount on unknowns and you will be fine more or less.   Alot of the time I think people just want some action and gamble without a plan, thats the aimless mood I would avoid putting any primary size bet on with.   The excess energy can be a negative and yep maybe best to go get some exercise or house work or whatever task to wear you down slightly in order to enter a more sensible settled mood for betting.

I believe you are not alone for doing those things in these days. Some countries are not having lockdown right now but people who got practiced to gambling are simply continuing it like what you are/were doing. That is the cruel nature of gambling like when you are getting practice to it then it will become like you are day-to-day activity.

Are you trying to getting back to work routine/normal life? Or still keep trying with gambling? One consoling point here is, when your government will be lifting out lock down restrictions, I guess there are chances for you to forget about the gambling completely.

The money loses its value that way. If you have five $10 bills in your pocket, you feel the difference if you are only down to 1 or 2. But the digits on the screen don't feel that important. Whether it's 0, 5, or 20, it's not tangible.  
If that number continues to occur 20$ in one day. For me it is quite a big number, in my country 20 $ can make a meal for 7 days. I think we should think to mention that value is small, because if it were accumulated it would be fantastic.

I think a lot of people don't realize that, or it's just me who thinks it's a big number. Maybe for big capital it doesn't matter because this loss can be covered with their money. But for small players it is very useful.

I remember how hard it is for me to resist from gambling but luckily and thanks god I found something that would keep me out from it.
I would hang out with my friends or play some online games to keep me busy and avoid thinking about gambling.
And now I completely avoided it for a very long time and I would continue to avoid it specially because of the pandemic,
I am thankful that I am earning enough right now so I don't want to spend it on something that I don't really need right now.
Everytime that I would be tempted to gamble I always remind myself how lucky I am that I am earning unlike those who lost their job so I shouldn't waste my money.

There is another alternative whenever you're tempted to gamble. And that is to play some computer games or by watching videos and movies to spend your time that should be for gambling.
Yeah , diversion is what's the best way to prevent us from addiction.
And if you're aware of doing it and seems effective to you, you just have to keep doing it.

One piece of advice I would give to the people who suffer from gambling addictions and impulsiveness is that I think this is the time that they had to improve or develop their characters. Cause if you have character, you will be able to control your emotions and decision. Meaning to say that you can avoid being impulsive and you would only play for fun and most of the time with the very least amount of money enough to enjoy a night.

Some people just can't recover from gambling addiction themselves, they need some help from professionals in order to recover, and family is really a big factor for that as they are the ones who is going to convince an addicted person. If we analyze closely, still, prevention is always better than cure, so even if we are so tempted in gambling, at the very start, we should already be responsible gamblers to avoid this serious problem.

I cannot ensure that these tips will work at all or not. However, points 1-3, are very hard to do commonly.
- Let no one is affected by addictive gambling, we are often lazy to exercise or just walk in the morning or evening to refresh the body.
- Sometimes, it is only in the beginning, but if they are addicted, they will not care anymore about that. What they are thinking is only able to gambling and gambling again. Until they have nothing and then getting a loan or other crimes. Sorry to say that, I don't say all of them, but some of them did these because of addicted gambling. Hopefully, there are only a few of them.
- Moreover hee, sometimes,s they feel ashamed of their addiction to gambling moreover if gambling is illegal in their country. So, they play it without notified by anyone else.

However, these tips can be tried by everyone that really has awareness and willingness to be free from gambling or to control themselves.

I cannot ensure that these tips will work at all or not. However, points 1-3, are very hard to do commonly.
- Let no one is affected by addictive gambling, we are often lazy to exercise or just walk in the morning or evening to refresh the body.
- Sometimes, it is only in the beginning, but if they are addicted, they will not care anymore about that. What they are thinking is only able to gambling and gambling again. Until they have nothing and then getting a loan or other crimes. Sorry to say that, I don't say all of them, but some of them did these because of addicted gambling. Hopefully, there are only a few of them.
- Moreover hee, sometimes,s they feel ashamed of their addiction to gambling moreover if gambling is illegal in their country. So, they play it without notified by anyone else.

However, these tips can be tried by everyone that really has awareness and willingness to be free from gambling or to control themselves.

if there's a will, there's  a way. i believe in this simple mantra. and if you are a gambler, and come to realisations about your gambling life one day, you should know  the reasons why you are changing for your better self. because those will give you motivation or inspiration to keep up with your change of lifestyle. because in reality, it is only you that can make things right. all the others are just support on what you want to achieve

1. When I'm tempting to gamble, I don't walk or exercise (although there are some times that I am) but I'm spending more time playing online games. In that way, I'm more entertained on it than gambling and at the same time, I don't need to spend that much money into it.
2. This might be helpful for those who are spending many money in gambling but when I'm gambling, I don't record all of it. I have this thing in my mind where whatever money I will put will always lose. If I win, then I will withdraw it immediately and if I lose then still ok for me.
3. Unfortunately, I'm one of the many people who are suffering this. There are times where I feel comfortable being alone than with other people Sad.
4. Watching youtube videos, playing online games are the ones that I want to busy with rather than gambling. That helped me overcome the urge of gambling.
5. This will help people who have lose too much money in gambling. I didn't seek advice because I'm only spending money that I'm ok when it loses.

A good advice especially on this day wherein alot of ppl seeking opportunity to make an income while at home because of the pandemic. and you know what i believe that mostly preferred online gambling as its so easy to make money. OP's advice will produce effective results if it is taken seriously and with a consistent intention to do so, besides it must be driven by faith or drawing closer to God to strengthen the elimination of bad habits that will destroy you.
indeed playing online gambling is an alternative to earning a living while staying at home during the pandemic, and if you are addicted it is tantamount to destroying yourself and will result in losing everything.

Using the pandemic to get addicted to gambling is just an excuse and a very bad one in my opinion. It's like saying I was bored and had nothing to do, so I tried meth.
That's exactly how it starts to be honest, some people are bored to death and they try something exciting, you wouldn't try something bad if you aren't bored or distracted by something right? If it is an excuse then an excuse it is because people are really going to find an excuse after all of this has happened and pandemic is an easy target.

There are many things you can do inside if repressive measures prevent you from going out. Watch movies, listen to music, read books, or learn more about crypto and bitcoin. Play social games and spend time with your family and loves ones. I bought a stationary bike a few months ago and I am sweating my ass of almost every day. Use the time to work on your physique and get in shape. Do pushups and pullups, and learn how to cook and prepare food. No reason is strong enough for a strong-minded person to become an addict in any sense of the word.     
Good for you that you are a strong minded person and you found your way of distraction, but not everyone is like you, they probably want to but addiction is not an easy thing to remove.

walking is not allowed in some areas because they advice the people to stay at home if they dont have important things to do than purely walking  to exercise .
 same with going in the gyms because they are closed but we can do a light exercise inside our homes .
 i dont track how much i gamble but i can estimate all my gambling cost in my head but tracking it in a notebook is needed if you are addicted in gambling because it can stop you if you see that your total is big . the three last advice is helpful too for addicted gambler
