Before you even say that don’t forget that stocks has been around before cryptocurrency, and there are also people who got rich by investing their money in stocks. So, it’s not like cryptocurrency is the only thing that can make us rich, although it is volatile and can increase more and give profit more than stocks. Then another reason why a lot of people are still investing in stocks is because stocks can be more trusted since it is an old asset type, so people believe that they are not taking much risk of being scammed.

Finally think everyone is entitled to whatever they want to invest their money in, be it cryptocurrency or stocks, they are free to go ahead with anyone that works best for them.

- Simply put, we are becoming a candidate for two jobs and each has had some exposure to both of these companies, here called stock and crypto markets and of course, as a newbie, we can't understand the feelings of a longtime employee in a company, maybe for us, the crypto market is a young and progressive space but for those who have worked in the stock market for a long time, they have a stable career direction, they just need to continue to succeed. Giving up a stable position to join a young company, it is not an easy decision and they know here, they are not promoted like their old company is stock.

In fact it is very difficult to say the exact value of crypto no one can predict when the market will turn so traders often do not choose stocks to reduce risk. the reason the shares have no value with the stock purchase if a company never promises to distribute any profit to its shareholders the share is zero no one would buy them. Investors buy these because you anticipate that tokens will become valuable over time as the company behind it develops product token usage.

Probably because stocks work the same way as the crypto market, they all can be manipulated. The difference is that the stock market isn't in a blockchain where they know how much is the real numbers like the max supply.

I'm sure there are traders coming from forex particularly since their brokers are the first to have offered Bitcoin trading. But my best guess is that there is no crypto user or trader who suddenly moves to the stock market.

There are just those people who are worrying about things that they shouldn't worry about.

Yes, it's a free market and it's okay to hold bitcoin only as your main asset rather than sets of altcoins that you're holding.

People buy stocks because they know they will expand in the near future, especially for companies that will be enormous in the next few years. Crypto isn't for everyone, and neither are stocks; why would you persist with stocks if you don't think they're making you money? I mean, there are various reasons why individuals invest in stocks, so if you don't have any, it's none of your business, and comparing the two makes no sense because they each have their own set of benefits in terms of profit. If a company has a good track record and history, you can be comfortable that money will come soon and without risk, and that people who don't want to take risks will invest in it.

We all have different preferences for where we put our money; some people still put their money in banks, and I don't think that's a problem.

Choosing one or the other is quite hard, because both of them offer different advantages for an investment portfolio. Owning stocks offers the right to receive dividends each year, which is a nice cash flow if you pick the right kind of stocks. While with crypto currencies we have much higher upside potential and a good inflation protection. The thing with stocks is that it was the most lucrative asset class over the last 50 years, and many of our parents and grand parents invested in them. So if you receive a stock portfolio from your grand parents after their death, should you really just sell all of it and go into cryptos? I would say better not, diversifying money is the best way to reduce overall risk.

Having an investment in both platform for me is a lot better I mean you didn't put your egg in just one basket, however both are risky and might going also to give you the probability to lose. We may not sure but I think one or many of us here in crypto community are put an investment both in stock and crypto market. For me, investing in crypto is a lot more profitable but we can't force people to choose one kind of platform to invest with because we have our own analysis and strategies in terms of investments.

People that invest their money want to diversify. Sure, you can diversify within crypto, but seeing that crypto is full of memecoins, scams, and such, people still want a maybe safer option that will yield a smaller return. I don't find it odd, crypto is honestly still in its infancy when it comes to investing.

You can't just look at one point of view. Many people out there may still not know what bitcoin is, and how it works. Maybe you already know and are experts in bitcoin so you can say it's easy. But it's not easy for people who don't know what bitcoin is at all, its good and bad effects. Big profits and it is undeniable that you can also experience big losses. Not infrequently people just want to play it safe. By not wanting to take big risks. Maybe if the bitcoin price didn't fluctuate they would be interested. So whichever investment is important you can master it. It's useless to invest big and big opportunities but you are not an expert in the field. Just be prepared for you to lose.

You think on one side only about understanding crypto. we can not choose two different things. Even if you say that crypto generates profits that may be up to 100% but don't underestimate stocks too much. Many rich people are playing stock until now and are still millionaires.

People have diversified preferences in trading and of course there are some features that crypto and stocks possess which are different from one another, thus people are also divided.

Yes , and they adapt to their own abilities . Maybe they understand more about stocks or other assets. So they are not interested in crypto even though there are more profits in crypto. So they prefer what he likes and he can do there rather than not understanding but playing, it's a loss

That's one of the reasons why people mostly choose to buy stocks instead of crypto. Before crypto is known to us srocks have been there already so people know mucu better about stocks than crypto. Maybe years later when crypto is widely used by everyone especially those countries who ban or didn't acknowledge crypto will start to use then maybe people wil buy crypto instead of stocks.

That's not the only reason, even if you know what bitcoin is, and what is the potential you could make a profit from that, you still may not end up with the same thing over long period of time. I mean I like to diversify my portfolio so if I have a lot of money (which I don't, so I am all in crypto), I would definitely go with crypto and stocks, and even gold and other assets as well that is just how it is.

There is nothing you could make it a weird stuff, it is just business and buy as many things as you can, ALL things are assets if they have value, trading cards are assets, pokemon cards do worth something I believe, just invest in as many things as possible if you have ton of money, but when you don't (like me ) then just keep it at one side. Many people who like bitcoin and invest in it, still do go with stocks just because of this reason.

I think that the main reason for preferring stocks to crypto is ignorance.
Not all of the people are capable of understanding what cryptocorrency is. Some of them are simply afraid of new technology. Mass media propagates the gevernmental position and tell the TV viewers that crypto is dangerous and unpredictable. If you are told that bitcoin is dangerous on the daily basis, what will you feel about all this stuff?
Also, many people don't think about trading but investing when they come to the stock market. They want to save their money through the long period of time. Facebook stocks are more reliable than bitcoin when we talk about 20-year-period of investing horizon.
Most people are reluctant to learn anything new, so they prefer to use such financial instruments that they already know.

You are absolutely right about it, many do not trust Crypto, they think that volatility will give them a bad move, as there are many who trust in the safe, in the stocks backed with gold, oil, and the safe.

We have great current assets like Warren Buffet, Trump, some very radical defenders of gold like Schiff, these people are very believers in the Stock Market and have even their own books, the high culture of financial education that they handle cannot be denied, but on the other hand On the other hand, we have many who defend BTC and Crypto, one of those who has come closest is Robert Kiyosaki who now says that BTC is one of the best current investment options, in general terms I think that the best option is to have diversification in Stock Market, Crypto, Real Estate, Gold, it is the smartest thing to establish a portfolio without looking for which of these options is the best.

If you're more literate with the crypto market and you're already good at assessing the risk that it has then you can basically invest any time at your will.

Actually, there's not that much difference from stocks and cryptos aside from being own by a company and not being volatile, in crypto there's no actual company that owns a certain crypto but it's the devs that have made it.

And in crypto, there's also dividends which is the same as the stocks.

Yeah no, this isn't true at all. Crypto "investments" work off pure speculation. The only concrete numbers you generally work with are historic trends and maybe info about other currencies - meaning if you see USD beginning to tank, you might be able to make some predictions on cryptos. Financial reports on publicly traded companies are out there, the sales numbers, revenue, profit, ect. I'd argue stocks are similarly volatile to crypto, just to a lesser degree. The giant companies don't really have a problem with this, but smaller company stocks vary a lot day to day.
