It is hard to see ETH can hit $6k this week as the ETH price drops too deep. But it could happen in the next month or the future because ETH still has the potential to increase higher and back to that price. Besides that, with bitcoin price drops too deep, ETH will stay at the current price or it can down for more. This correction makes many people sad as bitcoin is down and the altcoin follows down. But we should not give up and just wait without doing anything because we can buy any potential at a low price.

That goes without saying for any coin though to say "it could happen in the future".

I read the interview recently with Vitalik Buterin and even he does not know if this is already the start of the crypto bubble (he has lost his status now as crypto billionaire but still very rich with $800M).

I do want people to be sad and give up now though. Then we get more sustained price growths!

We see that planning in cryptocurrency, even for a short time, is almost impossible. The market was growing in price at a rapid pace, and in one day everything changed. So far, we are dreaming not of ethereum going up in price to $ 6,000, but of at least recovering this coin at its previous price, which was before this last drop.
However, in any case, we always have a good autumn season ahead of us for price growth in this market. After ethereum renewal stages in July and October, this coin should rise decently in value this year. I think that even $ 10,000 for it may not be the limit by the end of the year, given favorable market trends.

Never in my imagination to see Ethereum at $4k and when it did, some big players just dumped it without even thinking about the small players.
Now, that is proof it cannot hit another ATH. There are people backstage trying to make profits out of it without consideration and they will just keep on doing that.
If it goes $5k next time another big dump will just come and will just keep on happening.
10k will probably be reached in a few more years. Not now, not next year.

The market was able to recover from the major slump and there was a huge buy order in the market and the market was able to cross $42k at one stage but once again we are seeing a huge selling pressure which means some of the institutional investors are booking their profit whenever the market reaches a certain valuation, so this week is really interesting and want to see how long this correction will continue as the market already corrected over 6% today.

No one predicted that ethereum could experience a sharp decline following the movement of bitcoin because previously ethereum was quite strong when bitcoin had dropped and ethereum actually increased, it even had time to create ATH a few weeks earlier, but now that's not happening in ethereum anymore.

whether ethereum will decline the same as in April until it reaches a position below $ 2K, or maybe it could reach like January under $ 1K. if there is the possibility to increase it certainly could happen but it takes quite a bit of time, but again that in crypto nothing is impossible.

I hope the decline in all coins including ethereum because of the bad news that has happened in recent days where we know that bad news can always interfere with movement, the best way is to have positive news so that it can counter the bad news.

We still have a better future if we want to try and do something instead of giving up now and letting it just happen without continuing what we did. If we talk about "it could happen in the future", there is much chance for us to see our coins will increase as the crypto world will get more adoptions everywhere, which can help crypto grow.

Vitalik Buterin still a rich person even if he lost the status as a crypto billionaire and I am sure he still has so many potential coins in his wallet, but he never told the public.

People who can be wise with the recent situation at the market will not be sad too long and give up because they still believe that what they got now will change better in the future.

It's clear that most altcoins are following the trend of Bitcoin and the chart shows that if Bitcoin is in bullish trend most altcoins will follow and so on. And due to recent tweets of Elon Musk, Bitcoin now is in decline but I don't think this will be the start of bear market since Bitcoin keep reaching the level of $40k despite of the recent drop from $30k.

Ethereum on the other hand, after reaching the $4k there's a sudden dump which it almost looks like some whales are pumping it then dumping once the desired price reached. Despite of the recent dump of Bitcoin, Ethereum itself is somehow moving and trying to break the $4k resistance and after it reaches a certain level it finally dump following the correction of Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin would attain a new ATH this year there might be a chance that Ethereum would eventually reach the $6k.

I think this is reasonable because Ethereum has reached a certain level where ATH has been passed so this is a true correction whether it will continue or it ends with a dump, right? $ 45k is likely this recovery could happen slowly.

Once bitcoin recovers, eth can very well recover too. If btc has not crashed, I think, eth should be in the 5k level by now. But unfortunately, we need to experience the correction. This is part of the market and we can't stop it from happening. But with so many organizations involved in the crypto market, I strongly believe that we will bounce back very soon. Waiting also for the gas efficiency in eth to be totally addressed. Maybe, once this has resolved, eth will soar its price.

Yeah, as long as Bitcoin cannot recover its price, Ethereum and other altcoins are hard to recover their prices as well. May is almost over, it is May 22, I don't think we will see the price of Ethereum above $3,000 this month. I even suspect the price of Ethereum can drop below $2,000. So, not sure when the price of Ethereum can recover and go up to $5,000. It may be in June or July if the market can recover.

I agree with you, because it will be very difficult to make the price of Ethereum increase very high when the market is correcting, so I am also sure that the price of Ethereum will increase very high if the market correction is over and starts to increase again, therefore as long as the market is still correcting, then of course the price of Ethereum can't increase very high and reach $ 6k.
