Too many of the same threads.  Doge is a scrypt algorithm coin.  Gpu mining scrypt coins was dead in 2014.  Only exasperating the issue is that it implements Aux Pow and can be merge mined with Litecoin.  So essentially you are fighting every scrypt Asic machine mining litecoin with your cards.  The hashrate of doge is insane

Do yourself a favor mine gpu algo coins with your gpu, it will be way more profitable and even if you are trying to learn it will be much more informative and relevent.

In 2018 or maybe 2017, I remember mining Zcoin (not Zcash) with my Celeron and Sempron processors. You guys probably don't remember but it was a CPU only coin at first and the way the algo was designed was that it didn't matter if you had a i7 or a single core celeron, your hash speed was the same.

So I was basically triple mining with my rigs back then. ETH was the main algo with GPU, dual mined DCR, and with the CPU mined Zcoin. I remember it was like $1-2/day per CPU and it was actually pretty profitable until people ruined it who rented like 10,000 AWS instances using free trials. Those sure were the days.

Exactly, it's same advice j keep giving those newbies and friends over here too but they just don't get it, since they don't have the right equipment to mine doge coin directly they can mine other profitable coin and exchange for doge coin, it's simply ignorant

Exactly.The best thing you can do is mine profitable coins with your Gpu-s and don't waste them on Doge.You can then directly exchange your coins in Exodus wallet or in any exchange you like.

Agreed Phil.  I have been scouring through some of the posts and threads definitely new people that just don't understand algos and the different gear needed based on algo.  Just hope this thread reaches one person so they don't go on ebay trying to buy some cards in hopes of mining doge lol.

It's a perfectly reasonable newbie question, particuarly for Doge which is merge mined so it's
not as straightforward as mining LTC or BTC.

The questions I find stupid are where newbies think anything they don't understand, like hash rate reporting,
is a problem.

Who is mining doge coin on cards? 🤣 Even if it works you are simy burning away your electricity for nothing, sounds like those desperate newbies thinking it's worth mining but sooner or later they will find out the truth, without ASIC miner it's a waste of time
