That's sooo horrible story. And yeah there might a factor that pandemic causes him to play a lot that he got to the point of that big lose. Thats true, this happened because of his own doing too so there's no one to blame other than himself. Sometimes before trying to engage ourselves in any activities that can be addicted in the long run, we need to set limits and have discipline to prevent this from happening.
