Binance.us been weeks for verification phase?

Wondering if anyone else has gone at least 3+ weeks and eventually got approved? 

Mine has been taking forever.

I thought i could maybe try a different login and redo the verification, but once you get to the verification part, it says taxid already in use (not sure if just "disabling" the old stuck one would work)?

Or perhaps it just takes eons?
Whats the longest someone had to wait in the usa?

Any thoughts

I'm not from USA but seems waiting for almost a month is long wait, did you try to contact their support team and follow up about the latest development of your provided documents?

Also check your accouny maybe you have been denied due to some certain circumstances and you didn't notice it thats why it takes that long.

One of the comments is that "your identity has been stolen bud" which means that someone is using your identity and signup on Binance.us using the same identity.

Did you make an account before on Binance.us with different login info?
Your account might be detected as duplicated account much better to reactivate your old account if you have an account before.

If you haven't created an account before with the same identity try to contact them through their social media accounts.

It hasnt been denied just stuck pending.  Sent them a support ticket and message, no response (Typical i guess that they wont respond to verification issues).

I attempted to try a second account without disabling the first, the reason for the duplicate message.  Not sure if it would even help.

I was hoping someone say, yeah it took mine 4 weeks to go through or 2 months etc, just to confirm they are really slow.  I have heard some said quick, so the thought of new account occurred to me, not sure if disabling first would cure the tax id thing.

You have no other choice than waiting, maybe you can ask the support about the pending issue so they may give more priority but the time is longer just because they are taking more time to verify it and also due to the increase in the traffic to their webstite.

Don't create more accounts with the same name even with other national ID which is going to put your account on risk in the future.

I have never used Binance.us, but account verification shouldn't take that long. It should be within 24 hours or a week at the worst. The problem with Binance is that it keeps getting worse. It used to be quick even on the main site (Binance.com) but not anymore.

I don't know what you probably like from binance.us but as you wait, I suggest you try out other US friendly exchange like coinbase (coinbase pro), Kraken...

Usually, they really are quick in terms of verifying accounts. But just as Coinbase, they probably are experiencing some continuous queuing and that's why you're also affected by the delay.

Keep on pinging them and have it followed up.

Hmm op. Multiple accounts are usually not allowed in CEXs. I suggest checking their TOS first before proceeding

and upon checking with binance.us, it seems the same applies to them. Nevertheless, try to explain your situation to them, that you mean no harm and let's hope for the best!

Binance.com verified my account (L2) within just a few minutes so I thought Binance USA should be the same.

Never thought on a big exchange like Binance that it will take weeks for verification.

It could be because they aren't exactly the same. Both are run by different teams and the US platform isn't using every thing binance does, and possibly in terms of verification too.

Just an update, i suddenly got an email that i was approved today, so it was about 4 weeks, horary.   So if your in the same boat, hang in there/use the form to get it advanced.

That's quite a long week before you've got the verification. But this is a good news for you that you've been finally approved. Now, we've got the idea on how long it usually take when someone applies for a verification with binance.us.

Identity theft is the reason why exchanges have a backlog in identity verification. Another reason for the backlog is the bull market. I am quite certain many people want to trade the pump and dump cryptocoins in for quick profit hehe.
