I found a guy with 5-7 of these for sale. I don't need all of them so I may sell some here. What's a fair price these days for the m30s 88?

a good price is not what they are going for now - no miner is currently priced with a "good" price the market is way overpriced. miners are being priced at 12-14 months ROI when it should be 7-9 months for ROI because difficulty is a bitch. but meh

You are asking us, how much you can ripoff us here at the forum by reselling some units you found?

That's got a bad taste in my mouth.

I guess that's one way to look at it, but I did ask "what's a fair price". If I wanted to get top dollar and rip someone off I would just sell them on ebay to the uneducated.
I'm asking to see if A) I'm getting a decent price, and B) if the price is good I'll offer some up for sale here. I'm the one taking the risk buying from some guy I met without seeing them in person, or having the protection of escrow. If I sell here at least you will have the protection of the escrow services.
I'm sorry if this has offended anyone.

Ok, that sounds good and reasonable.

If possible, use some protection (escrow, Paypal) or something with that seller.

That unit's selling for $12,000.00. There is a Global Micro Chip shortage. That ROI is now 24 months at .04 per Kwh. There will be a lot of used ones for sale within 6 months as all the stupid COLO's and leveraged Mega farms that paid $120.00 per TH, go belly up because they can't service their debt. We've all seen this movie before. Good riddance to them all.

Thanks to everyone for the input, but I ended up passing on the deal.
I was able to get someone I trust to meet up with the guy. The chip temps shot up to 100c within minutes of starting up on 2 of the machines, and the third would not communicate with the network.
