At this moment Bitcoin is the best choice to invest in right now as the price of Bitcoin has drop-in recent times after making an all-time high 🆙 to $64k early this month, and there are other altcoins to invest in but make sure you do your research to avoid making mistakes.

I haven't much knowledge about SafeMoon so I can't say much about it. I can give some advices to invest into of course but it is best for you to do a proper research before investing into especially not much known coins. If you want to invest into commonly known coins also, then I think BNB could be a really good choice for a long term investment for example.

About long term maybe wait bitcoin to dumped a little again and buy it. Safemoon is a new coin, it is really high risk to invest in this coin. If you are a beginner and look for a safer investment, just avoid investing in a new coin like Safemoon. You are better to choose top coins that become the favorite people to invest their money such as ETH, BNB, ADA, DOT, LINK, XLM, TRX, or EOS. Those coins are safer than the Safemoon.

Maybe you will find most help in the "alt coin" section of the forum for advice if you're looking beyond Bitcoin. Ethereum is quite hot at the moment and being used in many new projects, so it might fit as a portion of your portfolio. Even though Dogecoin is hyped a lot and a bit of a meme coin right now, if you can see past the slightly silly name it has strong support from a team of developers and the amount in circulation makes it much more usable as a form of currency. BNB could also be worth it, as they might be the second large exchange to make a big stock market opening and anyone who has encountered their fees will know that using BNB gives you a substantial discount on the very popular trading platform.

I hope that OP has to realize the risk that he wants to face after chasing x10, x100 profit from a new project like what he had mentioned. Putting eggs into a single basket could be very risky, unless if he is investing in Bitcoin.
What he gonna do now is to listen to what is the majority have said, but of course, it was his decision. Many had fallen to wrong decisions because they are too blind not to see what is right and what is wrong.

Are you sure going to safemoon?  New coin will require higher risk.  If you are looking for a coin for investment,  it may better to distinguish your funds into at least two coins,  not all in one coin only.
And for me,  top coins only are worthy for long term investment, moreover, those that have real use case.  
I am personally a fan of BNB besides BTC.  
However. Actually, you yourself that must decide it.  High profits,  high risks.

Just to make sure for your asset to prosper, I would recommend bitcoin while it's on the downturn right now. Eventually the bad news that's trying to deceive us will subside in the next few weeks and it won't sustain. Traders and investors will again take their opportunity, once green signals will arise during recovery period. Don't worry just be on the right track.

I think he's been lockup by SafeMoon already. He thinks that this project will go to the moon and make him rich. He'll be taking this risk, I hope he is right about his decision. But I'm also hoping for Op is to understand what we are suggesting to him and it's up to him if he wants to save his money. Or that he is a rich person that doesn't care if he will lose or not.

I think investing a big percentage at least on bitcoin or Ethereum because is a must in a portfolio because considering the growth of both bitcoin and Ethereum and the profit you could earn.

Invest in top cryptocurrency in my opinion is always the best investment that you could do because it has a high potential and you could avoid the risk of a pump and dump token as well as investing in this token would earn you a good amount of profit because it has a low market price.

Investing in Safemoon islets just safe has a high risk because it's just a new cryptocurrency and in my experience, it's most likely gonna drop its market price, but still it has some potential I think you could gamble just a small percentage of your investment just don't invest a big percentage in this kind of token even though its a hype coin and trending in many platforms.

It's a risky investment but at the same time high reward so I think it's worth a try or have a few safemoon in your portfolio.

What is that 20k exactly? Dollars? Franc? Euro? Ruble? Peso? Also @mk4 is right, do your own research first and try to ask the right questions in the forum but to answer your question, I would say that bitcoin is still the number one coin to invest in.

Why do you care if what currencies OP's talking? it doesnt matter what is that but in which he will invest.

Though it is very stupid to ask people about which you will risk your money yet i think Coins with Cheaper value but Big potential is what he must investing.

Should you put money in Safemoon? No.
I will advise you don't apply the promising to every project created from last year to this year because almost every project that was successfully hype during last year till now can make a massive surge in price cause we're in a bullish market and many new investors who are still naive have joined the market and most of them only follow hype base project.
The best time to know a promising project without going deep into the concept, utility, community support level, and use cases is when the crypto market is in the bearish stage.
