What if Elon musk launches his own coin?

There is no reason to be a real speculator if you can do it in another way, Elon is smart and he is printing with few tweets. The new coin will not bring a lot of value to the table what he is doing now is the best method to keep printing money. Imagine getting billions with few social media posts, he is the biggest speculator ever.

I am also sure that before he started tweeting about Dogecoin he first loaded his bags and then pushed Dogecoin. If he owns a big stake in that coin he has made billions. Then again I don't know if he would do it because if somebody from an exchange whistle blows that it was Elon Musk who made billions following his tweets, Musk would get into serious trouble. Maybe he has always been doing it just for fun, who knows.

No brainer about that! he's risking  his name so  for sure he knows what's in stake out here. Buying that huge overload doge is how things works then the pump start while being active with social media post to attract more investors to follow.

He's smart and he  knows how to play and deal with  those followers so, by simply writing a tweets it's worth billions of dollars to his bag holds.

Imagine how far he can pushed the coin, creating a new one is not far from reality. He's just waiting for the perfect timing.

If Elon Musk did that before he shilled Dogecoin, it could have worked wonders. By now I think that people are more or less used to the effects he causes and nobody would really bet a whole fortune on his wild games he is playing.
Anyway, it is probably not going to be a flop if he launches a coin, but maybe not the success either that some people would expect!

I don't believe him, after announcing the Bitcoin energy consumption problem. Although I don't see any purpose for launching his pew coins without scamming with real investors. There are tens of thousands of altcoin projects in existence now.. so what is the issue if Elon comes up with his own coin? I guess if he has his own project, then he will stop bitching about the Bitcoin electricity usage. A lot of the celebrities have come up their own cryptocurrency projects in the past. just like you, I am also one of those who hates what he is doing to crypto today, I think Elon Musk is just someone who wants to make a profit from the speculations he has made so far on the bitcoin market, even though he could have created his own coin but of course he must have a lot of support and also get full trust from investors today, but to be honest now many people (crypto investors) have lost faith in Elon Musk and that is evident from the many big investors who are asking Elon Musk to get out of crypto and no longer tweet about anything able to make the crypto market worse.
as you said maybe it's true if Elon Musk issued his own coin of course the price could pump but I think that could happen if he did it long before he destroyed the market like it is today.

Why would he do that? He's already the richest person in the world. He can already play with altcoins, why would he bother with law, tax, regulations etc. when he has his "own" coin? When you shill DOGE no authorities can question you. Creating a coin gives more trouble than benefit for him. I don't expect a move like that in foreseeable future.
For the investor side, you can invest in his companies. Why would you want to buy his centralized coin?

Why not ? Elon must be capable with his power on it and he is famous, and remember, cryptos related with trend and issue, so if he create his own alts, it must be boom with 70% probability, IMHO.

I don't think that Elon will take the big risk of creating his own cryptocurrency. He is already quite occupied with various tasks from Tesla and SpaceX. He can endorse a new project, but I don't think that it will be possible for him to be part of a new cryptocurrency project. The risk is too high and the potential returns are not that great. And the chances of failure are high as well. Because if his coin fails to perform in the market, then it will tarnish his reputation. Also, since Elon is such an egoistic individual, he will not take such a defeat lightly.

Big businessmen don't work alone. He has lots of good and knowledgeable people around him to run and manage if ever their crypto project.

But in reality, I doubt he will create one. The reason is, he doesn't need to as he can shake the market whenever he can. And knowing what Elon did in crypto, I doubt most people will ride the hype of his own coin.
