Should I take $100,000 of the HELOC of US Bank to buy Polkadot DOT staking 12%?

I see the US Bank HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) is very low 1.49% APR rate in 6 months after that it is 3.65% APR variable rate.  I see Polkadot DOT in Kraken staking with 12% APR?  Should I take $100,000 of HELOC money from my house to buy Polkdot and stake it with 12% in Kraken exchange?  I use US Bank calculator with $100,000 loan 4.55% fixed rate for 30 years monthly payment is $509.66.  I can get $1000 per month from the Polkadot interest to pay for the loan $509.66 per month.  Please give the advice.  Thank you.

That's not ideal idea for me if you're going to stake on an exchange. There are other options that you can do for which you can stake freely without having a tie up with any exchange and at the same time you control the funds through your own wallet.

Are you sure that you're fine to stake that $100,000 in DOT? if so.

I'll stake that on Ledger or ImToken rather than an exchange.

Yes, you can buy on that exchange but it's not advisable that you should be keeping it there because of the risk that the exchange might get hack.

And another tip is to follow what this guy has said about taking the credit. I didn't look at it because I'm focused more on the staking through the exchange.

Coinbase is the only one thats reputable enough for this but does not offer what you want right now.

Buy whatever DOT you can without a loan and store it in a wallet you own
