What happened: Fake giveaway (Not yet found in the forum).

It was quite surprising to me when I discovered that a fake giveaway has been advertising over Facebook ads. As far as I know, Facebook has stopped advertise related crypto. I don't know the recent update if it's allowed now. I have searched that scam domain over the forum but have not found it. So intent to make a thread to warn peoples. Because perhaps a few newbies would think it's legit since it has been advertising Facebook ads. I know it's not new for us, but it would mislead newbies. Scammers are just using the same template like before but changing the way to approach us. So be careful once you see that kind of advertising on Facebook or Google.

It should be reported on facebook before some newbie bite and got scammed. The question is how facebook accept such ad, whereas it really need lot of info and even personal info (I guess) when creating a crypto ad on their platform.

This kind of fake giveaway ads are approved in Facebook ads which is really surprising. When such posts reach the common people who do not have any knowledge about such scams, they easily fall prey to these scams. Facebook is unable to detect a fake and scam website which is very frustrating. I have seen many times that Facebook approves such scams and fails to detect them as scams. In the past, Facebook has even approved the advertisement of fake libra website many times. So not all the ads shown on their platform are credible.

I get scammy crypto Facebook ads all of the time. It is kinda weird as they are one hand tough, on the other lenient to such fraud. The more we report the better, increases the chance of them being taken down.

Do not rely on Facebook ads once you create a campaign on your page you will get offered coming from Facebook for wider reach, without even them analyzing what kind of products and services they are advertising, they just want your money, this is an advertising company unless it was reported they will not take action on their ads.

here's their FB page https://www.facebook.com/specexelonmsk we should report it as well along with their website so the account/page would be taken down. if you want to make an extra effort. the accounts shilling the "giveaway" on their FB page should be reported too. if you are reluctant to click the link, search "Specex Doge" on their search bar.

@OP nice catch btw.

There will definitely be a gap where scamers can advertise fake sites, especially ads on Facebook, they certainly pay a little money to make it, but in reality it can multiply if someone is trapped in it.
So no matter how strict Facebook, especially social media, prohibits crypto advertisements, there will definitely be loopholes to trick it.
Now scamers are beautiful enough that there are a lot of people using them for sure there are.
What needs to be done is if there is an investment with a return of 2x it means that it is not valid.

I have reported it before making the post here. But sadly it seems the post still exists on their Facebook page and I hadn't got any response yet from Facebook. Usually, we receive a message from Facebook upon report like a profile report. Facebook used AI to approved ads, and we know AI can't prevent scams since it's limited to a few words. Like scammer wrote D.O.G.E who knows if AI has recorded only for DOGE? That's how I think scammers managed to advertise on Facebook. There are many ways to skip personal info and scammers well aware of it but we don't know-how.

Just discovered another fake site with similar templates of Elon Musk giveaway.
Website: https://getcoinsfree.org
Archived: https://archive.is/2D1Jv

It seems scammers just changing the domain name and keeping the same hosting and template. Just moving the domain point. They are trying hard to scam us. So be careful guys and don't be fool and greedy. Just keep in mind nothing is free in the world.

Edit: Here is another
