We all know about bank cards. And we know how to buy and sell virtual currency and do it with this bank card. But in Coinbase we can do transactions through Gmail. Here I have 3 questions. But did not get the answer

1. How to transact in Gmail, I can deposit it in the wallet again

2. How to set up Gmail on bank card. So that if you do transaction in Gmail, the dollar will go to the bank card

3.Virtual currency can be deposited in the bank card. From there you can go through the bank, buy tokens from the exchange from this card.

But in Coinbase we can do transactions through Gmail.

Can someone expound on this? I'm not sure, but I doubt anyone can make Coinbase transactions through email(besides transaction verification à la 2FA).

I am not a Coinbase user, but afaik, sending bitcoin to another Bitcoin user will require transaction fee but unless the person you are sending to is also a Coinbase customer, if the recipient is a Coinbase user, you will be able to send to the person using email for free as just a number is sent, because the Bitcoin still remain on the keys controlled by Coinbase. I hope someone that is using coinbase will be able to tell you how to do it.

I think I get it now. So OP is referring to Coinbase<->Coinbase transactions.

I want to know how the transaction is done in email. What is the process
The transaction is not done through email, it's just that you can send funds to other existing Coinbase users using their email. Also, it's not an on-chain transaction as you would make which has transaction fees. It's just easy and free because Coinbase<->Coinbase transactions are merely just change of balance numbers on Coinbase's database.

As mk4 said, the email you use is just an identifier of who you are to the system. You can send funds to other users if you know their email  because they've verified it with coinbase.

2. Just check your coinbase and email every so often and transfer stuff across as it comes in. You can't do the conversion automatically but you'll get an email if someone pays you.

I once gave some money to someone with a coinbase. And I sent it to her Gmail as a transaction. So where did she get that money? And how did she use it? I'm curious to know.

You didn't send it to her email, you just send it to her coinbase wallet since coinbase supports off-chain transactions so you no need to pay zero fee and the address you send is what she used to register on coinbase wallet.

Uhm.. from you? Because you just said that you sent her the money? I don't get it.

And how did she use it? I'm curious to know.
She registered a Coinbase account just like you, and the money was sent from your Coinbase account to her Coinbase account. It's that simple.

Does Coinbase offer their bank card? Like what Crypto.com is doing or something?

I'm quite confused with the OP talking about Bank Card that is connected to Gmail. From what I read with the posts above, all I know about it is that it's a custodian wallet that you can use to transact with other users using email within the same platform, of course.

Yeah coinbase offer bank cards. You CAN pay with that but I'd ultimately not recommend it as there's a 2.5% few on conversions and you also have to deal with the potential for a flash crash or something.

Binance have cards too and crypto.com.

I see, thanks for the info. What flash crash? Wouldn't it be converted into USD? Anyway, I only have experience with Crypto.com though.

It's similar to Binance internal transfers.
It allows sending cryptos between Coinbase users without paying any fees since the transactions are off-chaine. However, on Coinbase the receiver has to activate "Instant sends" from his profile settins otherwise the sender will be charged the regular transaction fees.

You can send from your account to another Coinbase account by entering his crypto address, phone number or email address (the one he used to register).

You can read more about it here:
https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/trading-and-funding/sending-or-receiving-cryptocurrency/instant-sends

As mk4 said, the email you use is just an identifier of who you are to the system. You can send funds to other users if you know their email  because they've verified it with coinbase.

Some platforms allow to do internal transactions with usernames, user IDs, email addresses but for internal transactions only. Those users and their receiving addresses are all in data bases of platforms. Internal transactions will be broadcasted and the receiving addresses will be identified by the platform databases.

I know it but I have never tried to use that feature. It is my money, my deal and I should take care of it better on my side. Double check address is better than blindly rely on the system and convenient feature. What will happen if system has technical problem? Will I have to open a support ticket, wait for replies ...? No, I don't take it.

Sending BTC from your coinbase account to another coinbase account user by the use of their Email address was the features used by coinbase to encourage their users in making free transaction which is called an on chain transaction.
The transaction don't work only with Gmail, it work for any email used by a coinbase user to register a legit account.
