Dogecoin can only have higher value and maintains it if Elon Musk actually works with Dogecoin developers to upgrade that network. The big question is who is the developer who was contacted by Elon Musk.

Dogecoin is abandoned by its developers many years and now they came back to work with Elon Musk. Is it a true story from Elon? I don't believe it but it can be true as preparation of Elon for his shill attempts on Dogecoin. It is likely a 50/50 between lie and truth.

If Elon and his team have yet sold their Dogecoin, any tweet as "Dogecoin sucks" will only be their attempts to accumulate more cheap Dogecoin. Cheap price is mentioned here is cheap if compare to the price they want to pump it to. I don't consider the current price of Dogecoin is cheap.

If Elon and his team sell their Dogecoin, price will be dumped without any tweet.

I have talked about this before, and it eventually happened as well. It didn't happened to dogecoin yet, it happened to bitcoin but that was a proof that it could happen to doge at any second now as well. He promoted bitcoin a lot, he got his company to accept bitcoin payments for Tesla car purchases and like that wasn't enough Tesla also bought 1.5 billion dollars worth of bitcoin as well. Now he said Tesla will not accept bitcoin anymore and he just thinks bitcoin is bad for the world.

So long story short the same person that got dogecoin from under 3 cents to over 70 cents could also be the person who can take it from higher and higher levels to very low levels. That is why I believe that this is not going to be simple for the holders. I always preferred to hold something that makes a lot more sense to hold than just "elon might tweet about it.

I think it's still too early to do that, because now he needs to raise the price of the coin in order to sell even more coins to hamsters when the price falls.

Though he showed interest in improving the system transaction efficiency of doge, yet, we don't know if he can go along with doge devs or if they can indeed push thru this endeavor. He can easily change his mind and we are blind to what his next steps are. So if you want to have a peace of mind, maybe, divert your funds to btc or eth, which I believe, is less risky than doge. I think he is more than a cocktail, so sad! Shame on those people who believe that the future can show us one person. "Working with doge devs"! Then the next tweets could be "doesn't improve system transaction efficiency"! I won't invest any single USD on Dogecoin, which coin is never comparable with Bitcoin. Bitcoin price was a good 42k USD before Elon Musk invested in Bitcoin.

The late people join the party, the chance for them to enter at peaks is higher. If they are newbies, worse, they will end with loses because they don't have logical thoughts that why they join the party. Dogecoin was dumped to below $0.5 and I think this coin can be dumped to $0.3. It would be a good price to trade this shit coin. I don't hold DOGE because I don't believe Elon plan for Dogecoin, DOGE-1 mission, etc.

I'm one of those who don't believe in dogecoin, this coin is overhyped and again it has infinite max supply so I believe with billions of coins available at 0.5$ per coin is overbought and dangerous, Elon Musk have a reputation to keep here because if dogecy goes down many will say bad things about him on social media and everywhere and the smart people who still invested in this coin will understand that every surge in the market is just an opportunity that won't last forever
