I wouldn't agree that this can only be done once, so a man has more than 54 million followers on Twitter who don't mind what he does - they just adore him and are starting to look more like a weird religious community that will do anything for his dear leader. He did it in the past with his shares, he paid some kind of fine, but that didn't stop him from doing even worse things when it comes to cryptocurrencies - I wonder why the SEC isn't reacting now, because if this isn't more than obvious manipulation of the crypto market, then I don't know what else should happen.
No, it is not possible to repeat. Look at John McAfee. Do you think if he came back and started praising bitcoin anybody would even pay him any attention? No, people will ignore him that is also why he isn't back ever since his 2017 scams. It is the same with Elon Musk, if he comes back and starts praising bitcoin again, even if he accepts bitcoin payments at Tesla again, people will still ignore him because of his scams. His reputation is already ruined among bitcoiners.

I wouldn’t agree that the two of them are in the same category at all when it comes to influencing the public, and I don’t just mean the general popularity, but also the wealth behind each of them. EM is far more powerful and influential than JM, and while it is true that his actions have definitely angered some bitcoiners - most of them are just ordinary sheep who are not too intelligent to come out of his shadow.

Sure, EM won’t have as much of an impact as before, but far from it he won’t continue to play his crypto games - the smell of the billions of dollars lurking there is simply irresistible - he will milk that cow to the last drop, no matter how much someone loved him or hated in the crypto world.

They definitely gonna take profit since that's the main reason why they are involved in the crypto market in the first place but the time of selling their coins is definitely at some unexpected time.
I mean, he becomes a millionaire for a reason and it's definitely not because he's trying to make other people rich as well, if there's slightest opportunity for tesla to gain profit from btc they definitely gonna do it, they are not charity company.

If you look at it in terms of wealth, indeed Elon Musk will still be strong even though he is hated by bitcoiners because he has given bad things that have had a long impact until now, that's why he continues to make things that can change in the crypto market so it doesn't rule out Elon Musk too can praise bitcoin he is a billionaire who can do anything.

The game in the multibillion-dollar crypto market will certainly have an impact and now it is more focused on Elon Musk who caused it a lot, I believe for now the resentment of bitcoiners is still there because this is just the beginning of the market to be a major crash.

Despite their statement of declaration that Tesla will not sell their coins held, I speculate that they might have sold it days later. Elon appears to be behaving similar to the average cryptocoin trader in the forum after dumping hehehe.

Also, why would Elon continue to risk $1 billion of shareholder’s money by destroying Tesla’s own investment in bitcoin? Tesla might not be holding bitcoin anymore!

Elon has said that Tesla doesn't sell the Bitcoin they have, I don't know, this is just an issue or nonsense,
we know that elon always takes over the market and manipulates it easily, this is very unfortunate,
because crypto will be a place for pump and dump only, It's sad to see people like that take advantage of crypto only for themselves.

Well Musk tweeted about Tesla having diamond hands so looks like Tesla hasn't sold. Musk may be a market manipulator and not know much about crypto, but he apparently at least knows enough to have Tesla hold onto its Bitcoin. I think at worst Musk may just do what he did last quarter and sell a little bit each quarter to make Tesla's financials look a little bit better each quarter in their report. That way they wouldn't be out of Bitcoin for a few years, and they could even load up a bit more at some point to keep that going even longer.

There is a strong possibility this is indeed true, the actions of Musk are not really making too much sense if we take them at face value, why would he begin to say bad things about bitcoin wen he had a fortune invested in it? The only logical conclusion is that he has sold his position and now he is free to express what he really thinks of this market and its participants.

On the short term this is the right move for him but I do not know if this is the best thing for him to do over the long term, if he comes back to the market because he sees a good opportunity to get even more bitcoin for a cheap price he is free to do so but his power to influence the market is going to be extremely limited as people like us are not going to forget what he did and will not care about what he says as we know he can go back on his word at any moment.

Expanding on this, Elon Musk isn't stupid, far from it actually. He knows that by putting out the statements hes put out, and seemingly looking to promote Doge as something great, would get heat from the community. I actually think that's one of the motivating factors behind it, the guy is a troll at heart, and has demonstrated this plenty of times before. Now, Elon Musk implying that he finds Doge as the cryptocurrency you need to invest in, seems to me like; a mockery. He's playing into the fact that Doge was created as a joke, and he's also making a joke out of the situation we have ourselves in.

Elon knows exactly what kind of influence he would have. He's a multi billionaire, considered a pioneer within his field, and is considered by many as a genius. The guy, knows he has incredible influence. He knows this, and this is in particularly poor taste, because of the semi recent exploitation of Twitter which resulted in many celebrities getting compromised, and promoting a "double your crypto" sort of tweet which resulted in a lot of people losing their money.

So, I do think his statements recently regarding Doge, and the way he's playing into it is in a little poor taste, but I don't for a minute believe he has sold his Bitcoin, and neither do I think Tesla have.

The reason why he is doing all these is to make some money where he succeeded I guess, but I think Elon Musk know the importance of bitcoin since he is kind of futuristic compared to all the billionaires around the world, so he is looking to initiate the bear trend before it was supposed to happen and going to buy a lot for cheaper price, les say 10 times cheaper than now.

Anyway who is going to stay here or not but bitcoin will.

Agreed. Read all of the hateful replies in his tweets hehe. He will be ignored, however, he cannot entirely be ignored. John McAfee is cocaine addicted former CEO. Elon Musk is still presently a billionaire who is a CEO of a company who holds $1.5 billion in bitcoins. The threat of a dump is always there.

This is Elon’s latest tweet about bitcoin. Can he be trusted?

Financial warfare is an underworld and always celebrates selfishness for success, instead of being a good person and helping people around, you can't be sad about such things, if we get such advantages, we will also be a selfish person and don't care about others, money is the end point of relationships. And if Tesla understood the ethos and had that much money to manage bitcoin, their faces will appear anonymously in some recent liquidations, a wise and arrogant man like Elon Musk won't let himself lose

Elon Musk will keep bluffing from now on pretending to be the main catalyst of crypto universe in hope whales follow his unstable thoughts daily. It can't last too long, because sooner or later people will get tired of his nonsense. Investors must be already aware a guy like Elon is dangerous for their own crypto investments, as he just worries about himself and won't think twice before sacrificing someone's else investments if he can take an advantage of it, even if it's needed to subvert the facts to achieve what he wants, like he did using the bitcoin mining excuse to dump the market.

@uneng. What I also speculate with the shareholders of Tesla is they might blame Elon for buying bitcoin if it begins to destroy their balance sheet. According to this article, Tesla bought with an average price of $34.2k a coin.

Estimates have suggested that Tesla bought its $1.5 billion BTC stash at an average price of $34,200 a coin.

Source https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/revealed-how-much-profit-tesla-has-made-after-buying-bitcoin

Does everyone think Tesla will continue holding if bitcoin dumps down to $25k or worse? Will Tesla hodl through 3 years of a bearish market? What would occur if Michael Saylor sold first because of the pressure from his shareholders?

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies fell as the emergence of negative catalysts, starting from Tesla CEO Elon Musk who canceled bitcoin as a Tesla payment, and exacerbated by the new chinese government regulations that prohibit the use of crypto for its citizens, I think these two sentiments have really hit bitcoin and other crypto right now, but talking about elon musk of course as a businessman he will do anything to be able to benefit from bitcoin and one of them is by manipulating the crypto market with the influence of his tweet, after a few days ago he said bitcoin mining had a bad impact on environment to make bitcoin price fall but now he started hinting to hold bitcoin by tweet diamond and hand emojis, I think elon musk has returned to collecting bitcoin after the price fell yesterday and is now trying to raise bitcoin price again so he can get it profit for himself.

What would be the reason why Tesla is going to sell their bitcoins though? They already sold at a profit when they tried for liquidity right so I don't think that they will be selling aanytime soon. Plus it is a good investment for Tesla to have bitcoin in tbeir portfolio because bitcoin is an appreciating asset.

I'm also pretty sure Tesla was selling their Bitcoin before Elon fud spread
for me, it would be better if Tesla didn't have any bitcoins at all

Bitcoin remains strong without Tesla
Bitcoin is only for those who do not change moods easily, Unlike Elon who has a lot of words that don't match what he did with Bitcoin

The risk of a dump is only there if he has coins to begin with, maybe he sold his coins and has bought again producing tremendous profits for Tesla, that could be a possible scenario but unless he signs a message from an address with a bunch of coins then I am not going to believe anything he says about his stash.

I know he has a lot of fans that are going to believe whatever he says but for the rest of us we do not have any reason to believe anything he says unless he shows evidence this is the case so I will say that he cannot be trusted at all.

I also think Elon has already did that. He cannot be holding at least a billion USD worth of Bitcoin while at the same time criticizing it. That is a suicide for him. He must have already sold a lot or all of it before starting to issue statements against Bitcoin. But it is his decision. He is the owner of his Bitcoin. He is absolutely free to do so.

I think Elon is behaving more childish than an average crypto trader.

He is playing us, there's still no confirmation that he has sold his coin but your logic is correct you cannot create a FUD on what you've invested, it's the fastest way to lose your profit, we can read on his succeeding tweet if he still has those Bitcoin, we must read between the lines and we should be ready for any consequences I just hope those who follow him will realize he is disrupting the market.

Thats how Elon works before and now he continue it on crypto so don't expect that he will really adopt bitcoin for good since he only want to manipulate to gain nothing else more from that. He's just doing a business here and for sure he doesn't care about bitcoin much he only cares counting his profits from bitcoin and crypto.

Obviously the Man is hypocrite and not to be trusted at any cost.
he will only seek for His benefits and never for others that entrusted him their investments.
No wonder that in the following days he will announced about hating Dogecoin also.

Elon has self-confirmed selling all of his bitcoins, and that will also come from Tesla.  His interests are in place, and he binds the community with this stupid, unbelievable vandal.  Then He will sell all Doge and continue to deny its role as it was with bitcoin with a cheap excuse.  Lol
