"Asperger syndrome" that explains the wired sense of humour,
One minute Elon is sure about accepting btc to buy Tesla, next minute he is concerned about the environment,  and few hours later,  he is conducting a poll about dogecoin to be accepted,  what an individual, hope there is a cure to this or he can limit his activeness on social media to avoid conflicting and dangerous tweets. Sad

Somebody must have taken advantage of the hatred towards Musk. Lucky to be that person. Imagine creating a coin from hate that will really strike the public thus the increase of 2000%.

On the real note, stop giving attention, and just focus on what is happening right now. We don't really need to chase him down for what he does as before he got interested in BTC. BTC is already doing better in fact the current price range is almost the same amount to before Musk enter.

Exactly. Now Musk is called "Bitcoin's biggest influencer" by media, and partly it's true, but should we think that Bitcoin's destiny is entirely dependent on Musk's statements? No. It would be so if Bitcoin was nothing without Musk's support, but we all know that this has never been the case. Musk can quit the game, and he will be swiftly replaced by another "biggest influencer", be it a person or an institution.

I don't think Musk is the most powerful person in Bitcoin right now. His latest antics have badly damaged his reputation, the community is angry with him, some even blame him for their own losses, because both Bitcoin and DOGE have lost very much in price, and thanks to Musk, they have been pumped up a lot.

I think the strongest player right now is MicroStrategy and their head Saylor. After all, as we remember, it was in 2020, thanks to the "MicroStrategy effect", that many institutions began to invest in bitcoin. It is also worth considering that MicroStrategy now has 92 000 BTC on its balance sheet, and Tesla has 43 200. The data was taken from Bitcoin Treasuries.

Now imagine that tomorrow MicroStrategy will declare that they are disappointed in bitcoin and no longer want to invest in it, and all bitcoins will be sold? There will be a tremendous collapse.

This is what I'm not sure about, I mean I really don't know if selling 92,000 BTC can cause a tremendous collapse. It's only 10% of today's daily trading volume. Surely it would cause a significant decline, if sold at once, But in a couple of weeks, or months, the market would recover, no? And much less would Tesla's selling off affect the market, of course. ... I may be wrong, but that's what I think.

What happens after that though? Did the petition accomplish anything and if Elon was to authorize the selling of Tesla's bitcoin, what now then? The people who created this petition and signed it are stupid because their hate won't translate into something that will benefit bitcoin in any way.

I agree that tesla thrives with bitcoin, but Elon Musk once manipulated prices, this made me always wary of ELon Musk, and I never followed their hype in the doge. I know this is just an obscure meme coin. I'm sure it will come down in time.

Unfortunately, this person still has and will obviously have a great influence on the masses of people who will believe his words and the ideas that he broadcasts.
Unless this petition gets hundreds of thousands of signatures there will be little impact. The guy is huge, and his success and connections will make all of this look like nothing.

Don't get me wrong it is great to see such unity among the crypto holders but is just that we need to come up with a massive splash that nobody can't ignore. I'm talking about great media attention, and an ongoing rally, this can't be a one of thing. This is the only way this has a way to penetrate and make an impact.

And much less would Tesla's selling off affect the market, of course. ... I may be wrong, but that's what I think.

Do not take into account the sale of only bitcoins from MS, since a couple of the same values can easily be added to these 92,000, because after these sales others will follow, the so-called panic sell will begin. Those 92 000 bitcoins will provoke it easily. MicroStrategy has been an example for other institutions to invest in bitcoin. So their abandonment of bitcoins will serve as an example for many to quickly sell their bitcoins. The crowd reacts very strongly to this. Even one message from Saylor, which says that he was disappointed in bitcoin, will be enough to provoke a dump, so by 30%, and the market can recover after that for a very long time.

The crypto market is very volatile, here any statements from large players can have a great impact on the price.

I agree, and that's what I was going to say last time, but it slipped my mind somehow: it's not the amount of BTC in one's possession is what makes someone a "Bitcoin's biggest influencer", but rather the social value of the person. His/her words can make much more damage to the market than any sell off.

I just signed the petition. In addition to possible market manipulation, I think it is hypocritical for a "green" company to hold bitcoin. This has hurt the Tesla image and lost them sales and market cap- https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/tesla-backing-bitcoin-is-a-carbon-tragedy-energy-use-is-huge-transaction.220105/

Lol what a cringe, "community" creating petition for someone to sell his bitcoin. What a bunch of woosies and crybabies. Those were probably celebrating the loudest when at first Elon promoted bitcoin and now they changed the tune. Ffs, just stop giving him all that attention  and sooner or later he will stop with his bullshit.

I don't think that a petition will help Elon Musk do that. I don't think that Elon Musk will even hear about it. My only hope is that Elon Musk realizes what he's done. His every word is directly manipulating the market.

Musk pumped Bitcoin price. The Bitcoin community-"Elon Musk is awesome"
Musk dumped the Bitcoin price. The Bitcoin community-"Elon Musk is a jerk" Grin
This is kinda funny. At the end of the day,it's all about the Bitcoin price, not about blockchain technology or Bitcoin adoption. It's all about the price.
A petition against Musk won't change anything.I was never really a Elon Musk fan,but maybe he is trying to tell us something, with all his trolling over social media.Something about the toxic nature of the crypto industry-Everyone is so focused on the prices. The crypto industry is basically "casino capitalism".

I love how you approached this subject. Amazing how fast people sway in the face of the times. You are spot on!!!

Elon Musk is already threatened by anonymous, or, most likely, imitators, but in fact offended crypto users:

Anonymous Targets Elon Musk for Destroying Crypto Holders' Lives, Trying to Control Bitcoin

The more often Musk tweets about Bitcoin on his Twitter account, the more hate he gets. Natural events. But no matter how hate Musk grows, the number of followers on his Twitter is constantly growing and he gets an even larger audience that reads him. I wouldn't be surprised that this was not Anoymous, but a planned move to get even more hype and attract audiences to his profit-making tool called Twitter.
I think this is the end of the clown Elon game Cheesy
I respect Elon when he doesn't play in crypto

but right now, he is making millions of people angry and mixed feelings
hopefully, with this warning, he realizes what he mistake

Are you even serious right now? Musk really couldn't care less about those "warnings". Public people like Musk are getting various threats all the time. If they were paying attention to them, they simply couldn't live, ffs.

Fortunately, Bitcoin is much stronger than anything that could be destroyed by Musk's or anyone else's words. And that's what matters.
