As of last week (5/17), GrowChain has entered full time development. The core team consists of 7 members with company registration and leadership in Taipei, Taiwan. Project leaders Tordan Ferreira and Ryan Wright are based in Asia (Taiwan) while the rest of the team is in Mexico and the USA.

GrowChain is the evolution of a concept conceived in 2015 and attempted to be brought to life in 2017. Due to unforeseen circumstances (namely exchange “hacks”) - our team, community and project in general suffered hefty setbacks. This project being GrowersClub / Growers International Inc (registered and trademarked incorporation) / GrowersCoin / GrowChain (soon to be registered and trademarked). We are committed to seeing the vision become a reality and this is a major step forward. GrowChain will be using the latest cryptocurrency technology to build tools and services for those seeking to offer more trust and transparency within their product supply chain and operating logistics. GrowChain will offer this and much more, launching 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. Official updates and progress starting now.

This last week, the team focused on researching new blockchain tech “HRC20” which is being developed by AltHash, a crypto technology company based out of Chicago, IL USA. An internal vote for the forking chain will be put forward to the team this week and a decision will be made. Announcement of our future blockchain will take place within just a few days. We are also focusing on the GrowChain tokenomics which will be presented to the public shortly after blockchain confirmation. Our logo and branding is also being worked on by a skilled set of designers, we hope to show examples in the coming weeks. A full announcement and website will be released after branding is complete.

Our goal will be to update at least once a week. Some updates will be more technical while others may be more philosophical or visionary. Please feel free to ask any questions. We are here and working everyday as a team, sometimes 10 hours a day. This is going to move fast. Everything is on the table and details will be expanded upon in further writings. Thank you!

Let’s imagine the future envisioned by many great authors and creatives, the sci-fi techno-society that is our “cyberpunk” destiny. A reality where class warfare has gone to the extreme and the division between the rich and poor is a basis for what will be known as crypto-capitalism. By allowing governments and corporations to regulate Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, we opened the door to our own enslavement. They have complete control over our opportunities, our health, our money and ultimately our freedom. In this version of our timeline, the power of blockchain is sadly being abused for evil, greed, and power.

More global pandemics arise and people lose faith in the quality and safety of food products. Millions of “lower class” people die from contamination and disease. The new world order uses this as an opportunity to restrict and regulate all consumable products globally. This leads to food scarcity and panic. Not only is there very little food available, but it also becomes unclear if “black market” produce is free from viruses or harmful pathogens. There is absolutely no trust in supply chain systems.

By the 2500s, things have gotten so bad that corporations (gov) literally control exactly when and what you can consume. 100 years pass as their system slowly fails. The frogs in the pot finally start feeling the warm water starting to boil. It’s time for change - real change this time. There is an uprising. A global war is initiated by the people to take back their planet. “The Great Crypto War” is what it will be known as. This is when the power of blockchain can finally be brought back to the people where it belongs.

After the great war, organic farming and sustainable living take center stage. A new global culture is born. Powered by GrowChain.

We can take a different path. We don’t need to go to war. GrowChain is fighting right now to prevent such a future from becoming a reality.

Our web-design is complete. We are now applying the backed system (Bard Canvas) and if all goes well the site will be online by the end of the work week. GrowChain is going Quantum!

That’s right, after months of deliberation and testing scenarios we have struck the gavel’s sounding block. Quantum (QTUM) blockchain design is extremely robust and fits our business model perfectly. GrowChain is built from the ground up to give our clients the ultimate benefit overall. Quantum Technology allows us to keep our fees low while encrypting information for our users quickly and easily. GrowChain will merge the smart contract element of Ethereum with the blockchain characteristics of Bitcoin, known for its stability and transaction scalability.

GrowChain will not be doing an ICO, we have already secured private funding. GrowChain will not be Proof-of-Work (POW). We will be utilizing Proof-of-Stake (POS) in order to reward our holders and secure our network. GrowChain will be derived completely by helping members of the Growers International alliance from the start, this the least we can do considering the hacks and events that happened with Cryptopia. Not only can users create dApps on GrowChain if they wish, they can also execute Etherium Smart contracts directly on the GrowChain hybrid network. We are offering clients the ability to create some of the cheapest NFTs on the market and deploy them safely to their users with extreme efficiency, by the thousands. Yes, this is what we can now offer with GrowChain.
