Dear all
Solana is now very famous. Before investing, i need to say ask.questions.
Solana wil be top 5 in 2025? My guess is correct?
When in 2017 eth competitor came eos. Eos.performed very well, but in tthis bull run nothing happended so much.
So.same.as solana also eth competitor so what is uniqueness to be major competitor to eth?

nowadays more and more people are putting in some new coins to become an ETH competitor.
ranking wise we still see how strong ETH is. but this year we can see some popular and surprise coins in the crypto market.
just look at DOT and DOGE. nothing is impossible in the crypto market. now SOL is becoming popular quickly with several airdrops on its network mostly successful.
SOL in the future could become DOT today. its popularity may increase in the future.

Both SOL and DOT are doing good and these two are known to be Eth competitor in many ways than one. Now, both of these tokens are already priced good though there can still be a spacious room for more growth as time goes on. Myself I was able to buy DOT when it was just $5 and the only regret I got was not buying as much as I can (funny but true). Now with SOL, I also bought them years ago but I got tired of waiting and sold them for a loss...what a shame I am feeling right now when looking at the price of SOL (not anymore funny, right). Now, having said this, it is all up to decide whether to go for SOL or not all I can say is goodluck and more power.

I think solana is backed with big investors since the coin is going famous because there are many legit airdrops based on sol environtment. Just like ETH in 2017, there are many legit ERC-20 tokens that has good projects. Promotion from giving legits airdrops is the best way to promote a coin because many people will spread the promotion post and make the coin known by many new people

From the fundamental of the project and technical analysis, Solana currently have strong uptrend, from the bottom the price keep rally with only small correction. I think this uptrend will continue because as new smart contract platform, Solana offer good product and solution for network congestion that can handle up to 50k TPS with average fee transaction $0.00001. Solana have huge chance to enter in 5 ranking CMC.

It's a bit different. When EOS was coming to the market and this project was instantly listed on the top 10 CMC. If you wanna see what thing that must be owned to be a competitor for ethereum and you can take BSC as a good example. Good ecosystem, smartcontract, combined the scalability. |

Honestly solana is a good coin and you can see it on the performance in the market wherien unlike other top 15 crypto currency that despite of the current situation it still shows a green and yes the percentage still high at this moment and seems has a tends to go back to the all time high value within weeks base on the performance in my view.

Wait until 2025 to know the answer, neither of us don't have crystal balls to predict the future occurence. BNB is the actual ethereum killer and the project you are talking about is not even in the comparison with Doge or Tron or further cheaper coins. |

Solana has its big communities and own ecosystem. Its blockchain is used as backbone for many new projects.
It is a potential altcoin for Ethereum ERC-20 chain and Binance BNB and Binance Smart Chain. I don't want to make any readers get hyped but some guys told me Solana can rise to $300.
I am clearly knowing it is a very high price but in bull market, it is possible. I don't recommend you to buy Solana. I don't give any financial advice, just share my thoughts.

Solana is really doing pretty good in the market and they just started last year with small price in the market and look what they are now is just amazing of progress they have into. I have few solana coins but too bad I sold it last year due to pandemic and it's a pity I loose great coins that can really fly high for couple of years.

TOP 5 will always be Ethereum and Bitcoin. The remaining three positions I guess they will be in the following altcoins: Solana, Binance, Cardano, Ripple, Polkadot, TRON and a stable coin. It is difficult to predict anything about the market as new technologies are always coming out and swapping positions frequently. Even DOGE from unknown cryptocurrencies is in the TOP 10 highest capitalization cryptocurrencies.
Solana has good technology, this project is supported by SAM and the community. I have a question with this project, will the Proof of History consensus method make Solana's network heavier? It's like recursive programming. If the Solana blockchain is heavier then it is clearly not superior to compete with new projects.

You have to remember that ETH is a prime mover, so it's very difficult for someone to just came in and over throw ETH. For Solana I've heard a lot of good things about this project, so who knows, it might crack the top ten in the future.
2025? That's a long way to go, BTC and ETH will remain on top, and then we will have some new and old coins still in existence to be in the top 10. BCH used to be in the list, but now it has move down a bit and then we have BNB and then Cardano entering the picture. So as the price is volatile, and so is the top coins.

Ethereum has more serious competitors like Polcadot, Binance Coin, and Cardano. You can add this coin to your investment portfolio if you want to invest for 4 years, but do not buy it at this price. Divide the investment by 6 months and buy equal amounts every month to buy at an average price |

yes I agree that Solana will be Eth competitor. But what the Solana manager and team need to pay attention to is that they shouldn't be charging a fee when we want to add a new list of tokens to the Solana wallet. because in my opinion it is a barrier for users to make Solana their handheld wallet. If you have ever used a Solana wallet, you will know that you must have a fee to add a new token.
while some wallets, such as Trustwallet, do not charge you anything for adding a new list of tokens.

So many wants to compete with ETH and replace it on top, I can say that many fails to do so. Its better for Solana to remain active in the market to continue to deliver good services and let the investors decide if the project is worthy or not. There's no guarantee that SOLANA can reach the top 5 position but being on the Top 16 right now is already a big achievement for a new project. I've heard so many good news and reviews about SOLANA, the future is bright for this project.

Many projects have been trying to enter the TOP 5 of the largest capitalization cryptocurrency rankings. I see many hard projects to be kicked out of the TOP 5, which are ETH and BTC.
In the famous smart contract platforms, we can see ETH and BSC being the focus of attention with DEFI.
ETH and BSC have better access than any other crypto project because they have multiple wallet support and community sponsorship. In addition to the above two projects we also have Cardano which is preparing to launch smart contracts in August. I see Solana as a potential crypto project but it still needs more work.

Solana was doing even better than eos. EOS was just a money grabber project. Investors must pay 4 billions to get a garbage DPOS platform. Im glad to see that people were starting to move into another chain. Solana must offer an innovative thing like create a new generation of the smartcontract. |

2025? Too long for cryptocurrencies to get things right before we have earth shaking events to test how truely decentralized they really are.
Still looking through the project to see how well it can cope on its own in a great storm that will shake the entire world.
A true cryptocurrency has to be well decentralized, with any participants able to easily run their own full nodes and take part participate in full network consensus
