Background

The exponential growth of the DeFi market marks the beginning of a new era in the history of decentralized currencies. It opens doors to a whole new world of possibilities, eliminating the role of conventional intermediaries like brokerages and banks by successfully leveraging the blockchain-based smart contracts. The fact that cryptocurrencies are inching towards mainstreaming is evident when top conventional wall street credit rating and index issuing institutions like S&P Dow Jones start publishing dedicated crypto investment index for investors.

The Defi market cap is well above $125 billion (as of april 2021) and is projected to grow by another 200% in the next 12 months. Commissioned research estimates over 2 million active cryptocurrency wallets globally have interacted with DeFi protocols. The actual numbers are expected to be much higher as many users rely on third parties. Top Defi tokens are already grossing an average of over $1 million daily.

While potentials are unfathomable, conventional barriers continue to haunt individual retail investors. PETS Token is a unique alternative to all existing go-to “make money from crypto” projects. We didn't put the whitepaper or the website out. This is because it's a soft launch. Those will come this week.

You guys should know that holders get a percentage of the fees collected. Right now one of the test accounts we are watching is tracking at +3% per day.  That's a pretty massive return for holding.

Basic concepts with this token:

1. Every TX has a 5% fee
2. 2.5% is distributed to coin holders and the majority of the rest builds the liquidity pool which we originally populated with 36% of the coins and locked for 10 years
3. Currently, we are seeing fees drive a +3% staking rate for holders. At that rate, $100 becomes $242 after a month if the price and the transaction rate stays the same. After a year, $100 would grow to $4848272 given similar conditions. This should continue to increase as the daily TX rate increases.
4. Soft launch. Trying to keep it under the radar to benefit early adopters.
5. A small percentage of the TX fees collected goes into a pool for pet charities and a small percentage is collected for expenses such as future dev, webservers, etc

Once that liquidity pool is further distributed, it will get really, really scarce. I think that's when we are likely to see people really drive it to new levels.
