Ethereum or Binance Chain (BNB)?

There's a new kid in town named "Binance Smart Chain" focused on rivaling Ethereum into becoming the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. It went all the way from being worth cents (in USD) to just hundreds of dollars in an instant. Unlike Ethereum, Binance's smart contract platform offers a greater degree of flexibility with ultra-low fees and blazing-fast transaction processing times.

Of course, no other cryptocurrency (except Bitcoin) can outmatch Ethereum's level of decentralization. I guess that's why most developers continue to build dApps on ETH instead of migrating to BNB altogether. For different tastes, needs, and/or purposes in life, will be the type of cryptocurrency to use.

I prefer Binance Chain over Ethereum anytime because of its benefits. But some people will prefer Ethereum over Binance Chain because of its decentralized and censorship-resistant design.

What's your choice? Ethereum or Binance Chain? Why did you select such cryptocurrency? Will one of them fade into oblivion sometime in the future? Or will they co-exist for many generations? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Depend on what you want to built on it. If i want to builr DeFi which is required to make retail investor comes, i will choose BSC because BSC faster and cheaper in term of transactions fees then ethereum. But if i want to build DeFi for Institution or people who want to contribute above $50k i will choose Ethereum because it is safer then BSC.

Ethereum has surely been there for many years and performed really well in the recent bull-run. Binance coin or the BNB has also enhanced it's value in last 2-3 months and as you mentioned, that was resulted by the introduction of BSC and its low fee structure. If you consider the month of June, the NFT marketplace to be launched and that will surely have a positive impact on the value of BNB. Hence, at this moment, I prefer BNB over ETH.

Nowadays people have switched to BSC from ETH, because the current ETH gas factor is too high, and if ETH doesn't solve the problem then new coin investors or developers will leave ETH, And I think that in the future BSC will be able to beat ETH

I'm still using ethereum for some things like hodl, paying for gas, and exchanging it for fiat. I like Binance as an exchange platform, P2P, Binance DEX, and now BSC I have not had any problems. Since I am a regular user of Binance, it is obvious that I am interested in their BNB token for the whole range of services and more to come. It is an advantage for users that in Binance Smart Chain the fees are cheaper and the transactions are faster, that's why I use the two networks 30% ethereum and 70% BSC.

Depends on what you want to do with your investment. If you are looking for a short term get in, make a profit, get out type of deal I would suggest to deal with BSC because the costs there are cheaper and you would make a quicker profit there, most things that start have a great profitable first few days and then they suck and become very low there, usually it doesn't even take a full week for it to start dropping so if you get in on the first minute and make a huge profit then get out after 24 hours you will make the most profit you can.

This is not all BSC tokens obviously, some suck from start and some are good even after a while, but "most" of them are like what I mentioned. On the other hand if you see a great erc20 token that can go for a very long term and has a good use case then you can buy ETH one only if it has a good future and you will hold it for long term.

actually ETH is better because ETH has been around for a long time before BNB appeared, but if you look at it from a gas fee perspective, of course BNB is much cheaper than ETH, even though ETH has succeeded in lowering their gas fees, and in the long run, BNB can compete with ETH later

If you look at some of the data, for now BNB will be a little better than eth, because bnb has a limited supply, not with eth, has a large community, has a cheaper cost than eth, If eth can fix transaction costs, it could be ethereum being the best altcoin, this is one of the drawbacks of ethereum at the moment, We always hope that it will be fixed soon in eth 2.0

You should look at the value and talk again about the chance that BNB will beat ETH in the future, this story is pretty ridiculous compared to the reality we are getting, the binance chain is really prioritizing the costs of helping the community but the projects here are still quite few and not particularly potential while ethereum may be more expensive but the project has potential and has its headquarters here. Quality is proportional to cost, more importantly they are still cutting these costs in the near future, BNB beware when it can be knocked down

Both of these chains are fine for me, they differ in cost and the cost of the money transfer tax. I would compare them as what has already been fixed and what will still grow and bring profit to both the creators and the holders of this coin.

It is true that these two altcoins are more in demand as they are in the second and third positions in crypto. ETH has been proven with its wide market but high fees are a major problem for it, whereas Binance has much cheaper fees and this makes ETH holders choose Binance as an alternative while waiting for the settlement of fees on ETH, it is often said that Binance will replace Ethereum. But for me neither, both will go hand in hand in the crypto market.

They are actually a good alts in the market "ETH/BNB" wherein we don't need to make a comparison in my personal opinion because both are useful and very reliable nowadays unlike some alts in the market i don't want to mention some names but its really true.. Indeed except to bitcoin this ETH and binance for sure will stay in the market for long time and will not disappear, unlike to those projects that suddenly vanished after all.

I use both network depending on my need. Not all tokens are cross-chain so you may find apple here and banana there. Lately I heavily used Binance Smart Chain and never had a problem. The biggest advantage is it's too cheap, you can make transactions almost free. I hate paying high fees in Ethereum network and most of the time I can't even use it because fees are higher than something I need to do.
I think in the future both network will remain and majority of people use them. If defi market grows we can even see mass adoption but we are nowhere that level yet. I suggest you that don't be a fan of any chain or coin, use them when you need to.

if I prefer Ethereum, because Ethereum has more long experience than BSC, it's just that for now the problem with Ethereum is the gas fees from Ethereum are expensive, but I am sure in the future Ethereum will definitely find a solution to make gas fees from Ethreum become low, but I am sure when many people started using BSC too and the price of Binance is equivalent to Ethereum, then the gas fees from BSC will also be expensive (same as Ethereum).

Both is good, But i choose ethereum. Ethereum is more strong and some very good token is erc20 based. Ethereum is centralized and its is the main point of my choice.

I will use DEX or tokens that build on Ethereum blockchain if they can solve the problem of high cost of transaction and network congestion. This problem does not solve yet since 2017, As the ETH community and ecosystem continues to grow, this problem should be able to be resolved soon. Since these problem not solve yet, i used BSC. Although many people said BSC is centralized blockchain but they give more advantages to crypto community. I choose it depending on the how the benefits, and later maybe i left BSC if other offer better one.

I choosed both because both of these coins are still good, eventhough BNB is dominating right now because it's newer and lower fees but i think ETH is still strong in the market for at least 5 years. So for me it's better to take attentions for this two rather than choosing one of them

It is true that both of them are promising coins and of course there is nothing wrong with choosing between Ethereum and BNB.
Although the transaction fees from ethereum can be said to be still high but I don't think it's a big problem,
what is clear to me is that these two coins will remain the top coins

Ethereum will always be my choice is just that gas fees now are heavily problem to the majority of people in this industry that's why BSC emerged to that occasion as a solution for that problem. I don't mind the competition as long as it can give people choices that can give them satisfaction of whatever ecosystem / assets they use.

In my opinion, Ethereum (ETH) and Binance Chain (BNB) are both good but I think ETH will remain number two next to Bitcoin (BTC) because it is a very stable coin which continues to improved day by day for having a lot of users using it. It is just that BNB noticed more because of its big pump so I think it is too early for BNB to replaced ETH.
