I want to participate on a webpage which publishes people's articles of opinions sent by e-mail.
The problem is that webpage is under siege by our repressive and authoritarian government and it is common some writters receive threats and stuff like that.

Any ideas to participate there without fear for retaliations?

Use tor, create an email account and submit the article using a pseudonym. It's not that hard. May I know what country you are talking about?

Yeah, this is a good advise to use tor.

You just have to make an email dummy and that won't leave you a trace if your government is supressive with authors. But that will keep you in shadows and if your article hits through many people and remembers it.

The recognition would just be kept hidden and I think that you're okay with that.

All has been given above, But correct to use dummy email instead of having your legit because there are tons of email that can be a throw away account like in HotMail or even Outlook mail.

Use public forums instead of using any websites which are normally under the control of government so they never allow anyone to raise the voice against them.

If you still want to use the website the use them via Tor and better use other email providers than gmail and never allow the email to know your location and privacy stuffs.

The best idea to stay anonymous online is to use a VPN. The government won't be able to track you if you have a good VPN. On top of that I would get a new email adress. If the articles are send to you directly via email than you need something that doesn't have your name or any other connection to you. Like that you should not be able to be traced by the government.

Such webpage or platform would need to be really decentralized, transparent, immutable  for safe use of Anonymity, and without any central/controlling power able to easily de-anonymize you. This will also let the government see that what you are doing is safe and moral. Your articles, posts or data could be attached to Private keys that has immutable copy of your verified Private Identity, while the public keys is use for anonymous identity. This should help society concerned trace those who seriously abuse their Anonymity rights.
I'm not sure we have a webpage/platform as described above. It just has to be done right for safe use.

I'd make sure what I write about a country/government is true, moral, and with no intention to cause harm to society/people.

Remember that we cannot never win against government specially if this is for our own goodness .

Tor, VPN, throwaway accounts... They mean very little if YOU are the weakest link...

• Connect over Tor, a GOOD VPN (or both) and keep connected trough the rest of these steps
• Use a random name generator to generate a random pseudonym... IF you pick a pseudonym yourself, odds are pretty big it might tell the governement something about you... That's why you should use a random generator
• Generate one or more free email addresses with email providers that care about your privacy (for example, protonmail)
• Write your articles, but run them trough an article spinner... Find some synonyms you'd never use for some keywords, make sure you don't give away any identifying information (check twice, or even more... LE can learn a lot from ANY info you give them: don't talk about your kids, don't talk about your job, don't talk about your pets, don't talk about your medical conditions, don't talk about your favorite niche software, don't talk about your village,...), replace your original punctuation and formatting by formatting that's still correct but not "natural" to you
• Post your articles
• Shut up about what you did to EVERYBODY.... Don't tell your friends, don't tell your drinking buddy's, don't talk about on any forum (unless you're connected over Tor/VPN AND using your pseudonym), don't tell your siblings, don't tell your spouse,...

The last step is the hardest... The silkroad admin was caught by failing in this last step... All the other steps are just technical, if you know what you're doing they're not very hard... The last step is the real problem for most people.

Basically what mocacinno said with a few extra suggestions.

First, don't upload anything. Most documents and photos may contain meta data that can reveal more than you want.
Whenever possible, it is recommended to use public Wi-Fi networks to access the Internet, as far away from your place of residence as possible. Avoid places with surveillance cameras.
Regardless of VPN and TOR, be aware that there is also browser fingerprinting, so avoid using the same browser (or even the same computer) for any other online activity.

Be aware of the potential consequences of your actions, and I urge you not to do anything illegal in your country.

It's also important to point out that there are many risks involved with anything illegal. People who partake in illegal activities often don't consider the risks. Doing something illegal online is not advisable... without an understanding of the risks involved.
Anything illegal you do online - whether posting private or personal messages or photos, stealing credit card information, or even buying drugs online - puts you at risk of physical harm.

I agree. Anonymity has advantages and applications, but it shouldn't be used for illegal activities online. Depending on your local laws, this can have serious consequences.

Unfortunately, I dont have a good VPN. I usually use Opera when I need it.

Nothing illegal at all, I just want to publish opinion articles which may contain things that my government wont like.
I just do nto want to receive e-mail threats, which has already happened to other authors..
