No new millionaires come from stock market in 2020/2021

Do you have a data to support your claim, there are a lot of HFT companies popping up this year in stock market so I disagree that there are no new billionaires produced by the stock market. The current state of things won't change for many years unless we do something really drastic is going to happen.

I agree with Obito. From the data available in India, I can see dozens of new billionaires in the mentioned duration. Bitcoiners have a tendency to post fake news (mostly for the purpose of using them as clickbait). But don't forget that this constant propagation of fake news will certainly tarnish the reputation of cryptocurrency. And this is the last thing we need right now, when the markets are down by as much as 50% from the ATH levels. I am a big supporter of the freedom of speech, but fake news doesn't come under that category.

Please stop trying to show the billionaires as heros and great business people, they are the leech of our community that takes more than they give and that is why they are that rich. Did you followed up on the Union talks of Amazon workers and what happened to them? There were even threats of firing the union workers which is 100% illegal but that is why they said it in a cheeky manner to deny it, amazon workers work so much that they have to go to bathroom meanwhile working and amazon thinks they should not but then put insane working conditions so they would have to be punished if they go to a bathroom break so what should the workers do?

At the end of the day this dude managed to even get tax payers pay for his workers, how? Well, he pays them so little that people who work for him apply for food stamps and help from government and tax payers pay those workers the extra money they need to survive. Basically Jeff Bezos is not rich because he is taking 81k per year, he is rich because he abuses peoples desperation.

But we can't take away cheating in human society, this is unfortunate that no matter how the institutions are built around us , we can still find others cheating. It is endemic and very few rich guys have made it without taking from the poor especially in a capitalist economy system.

this is exactly how new millionaires are created, without rigging the market. You can’t said the same for stock market, which is obviously rigged, rigged to make no new millionaires in the process.

@ OP you made a few point here but depending on your capital, building millionaires from stock isn't much a deal since stocks appreciate over time. A couple of millionaires emerges last year mostly from those who invested with funds. Stating 2020 wasn't able to produce a millionaire from stock abd 2021 haven't produced any yet I'm yet to believe this statistics and hoping where you likely got your source from

There are few people that probably invested in Amazon before it hits $100 back in 2009 or something and unlike crypto, those guys are probably overshadowed by all the 'big guys' that invested bigger amount. Yes. OP has posted completely wrong information. For example, TSLA has given 700% returns ever since March 2020. Many of the smaller tech stocks have given anywhere from 5x to 10x returns. The NASDAQ market capitalization increased by more than 100% during the same period, resulting in an increase in wealth to the tune of $1.4 trillion for those who were holding the various stocks. While it is good to promote Bitcoin, it is not necessary to badmouth other sectors, especially if backed up with fake information and propaganda.

What you stated is merely an opinion since you didn't put enough pieces of evidence such as your source on where you got the information you have provided us. The stock market is doing good at the moment. If you're going to search the internet, the market flow isn't as bad as the previous year due to pandemic. You just have to have enough knowledge and skills in order to be successful on stock market industry. It isn't a place for a faint-hearted person that is easily rattled by the sudden decline or crash.

Stock market possesses risks like any other investment vehicle. You should learn how to limit yourself, depending on your risk appetite. Otherwise, you'll just end up losing and regretting the decisions you have made. Investing in stocks, trading, buying, and selling, are the few stepping stones why there are many millionaires and billionaires enjoying their money right now. There are too many examples of this but probably the most obvious has to be ethereum, I suppose you have heard of it right? The ethereum project was released on this forum and the same is true for many other coins that still exist to this day and that made a fortune to their developers, that success is what eventually caused the ico craze of 2017 which made a lot of people millionaires as well, however this is getting more uncommon as many coins get released directly in exchanges and do not bother with the forum anymore.

It doesn't matter whether stocks will generate more millionaires or it's the cryptocurrencies. But no bias, I'm more with cryptocurrencies and I'm more confident with its volatility rather than the 2%-5% of a week-month move of the stocks.

I've seen stocks experts are also have merged their expertise in cryptocurrencies and they're already trading it too. Well, a consolidation of their skills through stocks have been used to the crypto market and that's an advantage that they've got which they can apply through crypto.

Sure I've heard about Ethereum. When you have told Ethereum I remembered that Vitalik Buterin has a profile here. He is probably on of the most famous millionaires from Bitcointalk forum. I remember people pointed on other project devs, that were (and some visit bitcointalk forum from time to time) active on the forum.

I see people write that they use signals on the forum to multiply investments. They probably can be counted rich or close to being rich or even millionaires.

Stock market in general did went up a lot this year, but also remember how low it got as well. I do agree that if you invested smart then you made a great deal of profit, look at just amazon and how awesome it is doing, that is a smart business because when people are in lockdown they order stuff from amazon instead of going out to buy them, simple as that. However what if you were invested in an airline business? I mean they were all grounded and couldn't fly and that is the proof that you would lose a ton of money.

Stock market and crypto market is different, in stock market you have great stocks and horrible stocks, in crypto unless you buy some shitcoin, the top 50 or even top 100 all go up together and go down together, rarely you see anything that acts all of its own the other way around, so if you are invested in crypto, you could potentially feel safer.

But it takes a lot of money and a pretty crazy luck for a simple guy that trades with only a thousand dollars to be a millionaire, most of the people who becomes a millionaire in the stock markets are start ups that are being funded by venture capitalists that only grows in funding as long as they are growing.
