Please don't send money in any form of crypto in the name of the Elon Musk giveaway and it's clear that this is a scammer with the lure of doubling your money so I think you should avoid it.

There are still many giveaways on the medium and twitter that are faked by scamers and they are always stalking you from where the gaps are always sent via messages or other advertisements, so please pay close attention and further verification.
Now no one guarantees you will get double that.

Be careful scammer would use up anything just to scam people they could use a famous personality or even some fake hospital documents or deceased person.
You could try the giveaway as long as it isn't asking you to deposit any amount because it is a giveaway so why do you need to pay just to receive?

Haha this is always the voice of someone waiting to fall prey to scammer. They are always in a haste not to miss it and the scammer tell you there is limited availability. I'm sure if you didn't get quick response from users or discouraging messages, you would have sent your hard earned money in the drive to double it and then get scammed out of what you have.

There is not like doubling that doesn't look suspicious and fake at the end, so bear that in mind as a newbie. Work for your growth and don't always be looking for short cut, short cut is fast ways to an end.

The OP should have checked the official twitter page of Elon Musk, and it seems it is different one. Just look at the profile photo of the official one as compared to what the OP posted.

This isn't part of altcoins discussion, but this kind of announcement is totally fake or a scam. There I couldn't find any charity options. Why would Elon Musk do that? With double trade bonus, giveaway from some popular person, charity or transaction cost for any airdrop, actually all are scam. I can guarantee you that most 99% cases are scams.

Almost of this type of giveaway are scam, sometimes it looks really trusted because it could be from official twitter account or official youtube channel that might be hacked by the scammer to scam people. Most of the giveaway in social media accounts is bullshit if it requires you to do some instruction like sending your money to them and if they use famous person's name then it doubles the bullshit

Elon musk never ever create any giveaway on the twitter. So many scammers were using his name to spread the fake news about the fake airdrop and these scammers claimed that if these airdrop were coming from the elonmusk itself.
The scammers will steal your money after you have sent it to their wallets. I have ever seen that my friend got scammed caused by he was so greedy by sending his money to the this fake event.

A lot scammer in crypto space, they are not only used account of twitter or other social media, but also used google ads service to promoted scam website. Short answer: This is a scam.

Long answer: Musk does not own any such company or project. Dogecoin is developed by two well known engineers, as given here

Please do some of this groundwork before jumping into crypto and its nuances. Not being informed about scams does not save your money from being lost. Money is not created out of thin air, if it did then this entire economy would have collapsed. So use your common sense, nobody gives out money for free, if it says so then you are the one being used.

Suggestion to you would be to read the threads that get posted in "Scam Accusations" of this forum to keep yourself updated about similar scams happening everyday.

That's an outright scam. They are targeting newbies like you that want to earn as quickly as you can but don't realize that they're giving away a too good to be true offer for which you shouldn't believe quickly. Sad to see that there are still gullible people that falls with that scam and later will find out that there are several warnings that has been posted on the internet but they didn't do their own research and only to find out that they've been scammed and that's hard to accept.
