I think he knows that and that's why he always do some sort of promotion for some crypto for better or for worse so in a way, he pretty much manipulates the market where he wants it to be.

This dude is a very different person than any other person I have seen. Dude only cares about attention personally, business wise he cares about profit only that is true but personally he cares about attention, that is why he is doing stuff like electric cars and spaceships whatever as a business as well, sure it is mainly profit but spacex basically took out government loans after government loans and sure they paid it back and so forth but nobody else would get THAT much money, and they are given contracts constantly as well.

Long story short this dude wanted to be talked and that is what he did, now he is talked all day every day, without missing an hour. That is why he will keep doing this, he will keep talking about crypto like there is no tomorrow because he knows he will get attention.

Everything about this guy isn't credible anymore. I used to be so amazed by him and his achievements back then but as I get to know more about him, turns out that most of the things he boasts about aren't even his to begin with. And just to make things worse, he started talking about dogecoin. And at that point, I totally lost interest in everything about him. Shilling a useless memecoin all of a sudden when there are dozens of amazing coins out there that have great concepts and potential to grow and help solve problems both in this industry and on the real world, just made me understand even further that this guy is really not worthy of my admiration. And I hope a lot realizes this soon and stop taking his words seriously.

I don't think he even cares about profit so much. He cares about his companies, Tesla and SpaceX.  Besides those, his main motivation is doing things for public attention, that's basically 100% of the motivation behind his Twitter posts.  I sometimes wonder if he only cares about Tesla and SpaceX because they have the potential to drastically reshape society, which would bring him even more attention.  Maybe attention is the only thing he cares about at all and his companies are just a way to achieve that end.

No doubt with the recent happening we can conclude Elon Musk manipulates the market with his tweets and he is the one who started the FUD which now led to the low prices we are seeing now, and this is really bad for crypto entirely for a man to manipulate market prices with his tweet. I don't really know whether we can call it a manipulation of the market.
Elon just expresses his thought on twitter. He doesn't call for action, he just say that perhaps some price is too high. That is not the problem of Elon Musk, the problem is that everyone trusts him. That is the most surprising thing. Like when he wrote, "I think that Tesla is overrated" and everybody started to sell Tesla stocks. Was it manipulation? If you and me said this, nobody would pay any attention. He didn't disclose any insider information neither. He just expressed himself.
More than that, I also remembered the moment when he claimed that he was going to buy bitcoins (or had already bought). Was it manipulation? of course, not.
Actually, the same thing with Warren Buffet. He publishes the list of the stocks that he invests in and many investors follow his deals. This can also be called a merket manipulation?
So, my idea is that the reputation of Elon Musk is so high, that so many people believe him and follow his ideas. That is why, whatever he posts in his twitter, it will be treated like a thing to do.

He has been manipulating the cryptocurrency market on purpose or not knowingly. But I don't think that he has been doing it unknowingly. He is aware of everything in this market, he is a smart guy in the end. His actions are related to his investments and benefits.

There's nothing wrong with what he did because he is protecting his interests which is natural for every person raised in a materialistic world. Of course there's a likely chance that he is aware of his actions, remember that celebrity and famous personality tweets are regulated by their own social media managers so there's probably some filter, control and agreement that the tweet won't hurt their image, their company or their interests.

Many people like you will bubble up for it, always do your own research before judging the matter. There is a lot of crap in this market, but the case of doge coin is an exception, but be honest with yourself whether it is worth it or not.

I doubt he is doing it anymore. I understand that he did and I agreed that he did, that is what he was happy about as well, not the fact that doge went up and he made money, I am not even sure if he had any doge aside from some joking amount (for him of course, 100k is nothing to him so it could be huge for us too?) I just think that he liked the idea that he could tweet a coins name and then the coin would come up and people would make money and show him huge amounts of love.

That is just not something people could leave aside, if people send you loving tweet replies in thousands every time you tweet something about doge, you would support doge as well, it is just impossible to reject love from the public it is very difficult. This is why he manipulated the market, but after a while he stopped, no idea if it is something about SEC or anything like that but he is  no longer doing it anymore.
