I would put few hundred bucks in multiple altcoins and planning to keep it for long time (over 2 years). I am planning to store them in paper wallets (for each).

I'm looking for:

  • Links of opensource generators of TRX, DOGE
  • ques: Where to see my address for each generator?
  • ques: After I generate wallet, Is there any kind of activation should i do? Or moving my funds to the address directly?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

As far as TRX goes, I remember this one: https://github.com/eskakatana/tronpaperwallet.org.

You can follow the guide here: https://steemit.com/tron/@cryptokatana/trx-how-to-create-and-restore-a-tron-paper-wallet

As long as you have the private key and keep it protected, you can move your funds anymore and directly.

This is for Dogecoin paper wallet, open source and you can run it on offline https://github.com/wr/dogecoinpaperwallet

Here's the tutorial to create Dogecoin paper wallet https://dogecointutorial.com/paper-wallet.html

  • ques: Where to see my address for each generator?
You'll get it after you successfully create the wallet, your address it's a public key.

Quote
  • ques: After I generate wallet, Is there any kind of activation should i do? Or moving my funds to the address directly?
No, an address doesn't need a activation to deposit some funds or it's a scam sites. You're freely to send your funds or not, your wallet will still work even you deposit after 3 years or more.

You could use Ian Coleman's Mnemonic Code Converter. It's open source and can be used offline.
Choose the Coin you want, and print the address/privkey. Or just keep the mnemonic. Or better: both. Or just use a hardware wallet and save yourself the hassle.

I've never used iancoleman.io to create an address for real usage, but I've never read anything bad about it either. On the other hand, I've seen several paper wallet websites turn into a scam, and if you want to many different coins, it may be nice to have one solution for all of them.

Generating paper wallet offline, writing private key and address down and formating the machine after the proccess
Be very careful with your own handwriting! You wouldn't be the first to lose your coins because of it.
Also: I'd use a Linux Live DVD instead of formatting your computer afterwards.

Wondering why are you confused about whether paper wallet is secured or not. If someone can generate paper wallet by following steps accordingly, that will be the most safe wallet. None of the other cold wallet service is such safe.

I have a simple question about how random it works, It didn't ask me to enter anything random. So from where does it get a random seed?
I'm guessing it's generated in your browser. You can click "Show entropy details" and enter (many) dice rolls.

If I would face any problem with formating the machine, I would use use Live linux dists.
There's nothing to format if there is no hard disk Wink

Yes I'm sure, I have did my own investigation on this. Generating paper wallet offline, writing private key and address down and formating the machine after the proccess, then sweeping the paper wallet to live wallet when i want. so If I was confused, I would ask the community the same like this.

Becareful about the tools u use for write it, make sure its wont dissapeared in the future, also you need to have plan when something bad happens, like earthquake, flood, or even fire.
