This fight have been scheduled for December of last year, but Nordine contacted Covid-19. And then Nonito was bound to fight Emmanuel Rodriguez but he himself got the virus as well. But now everything is clear, Nordine for his third defense of his 118 belt against Nonito.

This is a must watch fight, but I think Donaire still has the tools to edge Oubaali by either a left hook knock out or a hard fought 12 rounds and unanimous decision win.

So this one is worth to bet on Donaire if he wins. I hope he will show the same power when he fought Inoue. We don't know how they are prepared for this fight up until they are already inside the ring. Sometimes, it is the preparation that matters even if we say the opponent has very good record like Oubaali who has no loss yet.

Am I seeing another Montiel performance here? I think Nordine fights like Montiel and we all know how Nonito crack Montiel's chin with that perfect left hook. Although you can argue that it was a prime version of Nonito and now he is just a shade of his greatness although he can still pull some upset here.

And specially that he is the underdog, remember that in the Inoue fight, Donaire has some moments and he almost beat the Monster in the series. He even broke Inoue's orbital bone if I'm not mistaken so Nonito can still pull that trigger.

Although this is on pure Filipino, but here is the key points, if Oubaali will fight toe to toe then there is a chance that Donaire can win. But according to him, Nordine has all the tools and very fast, but doesn't have the power, but can score points. Of course he says that experience and height and power belongs to Donaire. And for Casimero, Nonito is the clear favourite here but he needs to knock out Nordine.

Interesting to note that John Riel calls this as Donaire's last card, but no need to worry because he will take care of this division by himself  .

I doubt Nonito can manage to sneak a one-time KO punch to Oubaali. He may connect some of his strong left hooks but probably not powerful enough to put Oubaali to sleep. Nonito always lacks the finishing follow-ups. And because I think this fight will go the distance, I am rooting for Oubaali, but might not actually bet. I don't think Nonito could outscore his opponent if the result is a UD.

If Donaire wins then I think Inoue would prefer to give him a rematch than fight Casimero. Inoue will be fighting in a few weeks so their schedules line up for a potential fight. We will see how the long layoff has affected each fighter. Donaire is older but Oubaali is also old for the weight class and doesn't have much experience. It is a more even fight than the odds suggest, in my opinion. If Donaire loses then it is time to retire because if he can't beat Oubaali then he isn't beating the other champions.

Donaire still has some left on him, so I wouldn't discount that fact. Even if Oubaali strategy is not to engage him early, still good for Donaire as he can preserve his strength down the championship round as I have observed that he gasses out during the Inoue fight that's why he didn't close out Inoue that time.

That’s the strength of Donaire that makes him more worth it as an opponent, unfortunately we didn’t see some of his anticipated matches. Anyway, this match could be a big deal for Donaire as he is trying to gain back some titles and this could be the way for him to match good boxers soon, Oubaali has a clean record but I don’t see so much strength on this guy compare to Donaire, this will be an epic match though I hope its not too late to place some bet.

But I'm sure Nonito still has it. We see how fierce he turned to on his last fight despite the talks that he's now past his prime. His training is non-stop even amid pandemic so he should stay in his shape even after contracting the virus (which he is asymptomatic).

He has been boxing for 14 years, and he is good at the junior featherweight also featherweight has been a solid one for him. I don't want the fight to go the distance but apparently, Oubaali is a strong puncher I hope if Donaire can't knock him off it will surely go the distance, but even if it ends that way I hope that Donaire would win this with UD, I think that Nonito can last this just like what happened with the Naoya fight but Nonito Donaire will come up victorious and I think that Inoue Naoya is a stronger puncher than Nordine Oubaali.

I would really love to see the full fight, just like watching a Pacquiao fight this is the way I can support our boxer or athletes in watching the full fight but it really depends on what people feel on how they can support their favorite fighter or athletes but for me, I do love to see the full fight.

The odds was like x3, and it was an easy win, you could have made more profit. And yes, Donaire is eyeing Inoue, he said it during the interview after the fight. I guess Inoue is really strong as he was able to stand on Donaire's heavy shots, but this guy Oubaali does not look durable, and he is not quick, unlike Inoue.

Yup! he has shown his experience in this fight and I think that he can still do more just like Manny Pacquiao did after watching this fight I really think that he has changed tremendously, I think he has might learned from his previous fight.

I forgot the odds of the KO win by Donaire, but I'm sure the KO for rounds 4-6 gives a huge winning odds since Donaire was the underdog of the fight. I think it will be a big problem to donaire to win to his opponents. This is just my assessment only though I am a Filipino citizen, Oubaali seems really strong and have a lot of skills compared to Donaire skills and experienced. I watched the game and I am amazed on how the Filipino Flash controlled the fight until Round 3. What surprises me the most is that, this may be a candidate for K.O of the year! Man, Donaire managed to K.O. him after the last second of Round 3 and Oubaali was not able to recovered from those punches.

I also think that the referee made the right choice on throwing the towel. Dude was confused and wobbly after several punches and hooks to his face. Even if it was the end of the round, Oubaali was just not able to recover and convince the referee that he can still fight.

I think rounds 1-2 is even, it was Oubaali who is the aggressor, I even believe that the judges gave that first two rounds for him. Donaire was only looking for the best timing, he is not punching a lot and if you notice, in round one he is not throwing his left hook, that's because he is just measuring the distance and observing his opponent.

It's possible, and that's why the Filipinos could possibly taking over this division. You forget about champion in this weight class, which is Gaballo.

And the record that Donaire broke as the oldest champion in this division is held by another legendary Filipino fighter, Jerry Penalosa. But you can say that there is also a history of Japanese fighters in this division as well. Anyhow, I wanted to see Donaire vs Inoue II, and I think this is what the majority is looking for not Nonito against fellow Filipinos.
