I didn't expect this but it has happened, Donaire won against Oubaali and I guess this will be the open gate towards the Inoue, this rematch will considering an act of revenge if he will able to win the match. Donaire now has on the record of (47 fights - 41 wins - 6 losses) it is very matching to Inoue.

My bad too as I made a bet at Oubaali but never thought that an underdog would beat him up. The game was lengthy as well as exciting to watch, specially the dangerously shocking performance of Donaire.

We got deceived, Oubaali was overrated but in the actual fight, we know who is dominant and saw it in our very eyes.

These type of wins show that favorites are not always the best and can be beaten up by underdogs who may seem to be underdogs but are not. Donaire was firm in his mind that he is going to win this game anyhow, and it was seen in all his punches. The match made me lose and learn a lesson here, but I was more interested in watching the game and seeing Donaire's aggressive performance, I take my loss as if I bought a ticket to watch it there.

I'm also surprised at the outcome when Oubaali cannot hit Donaire and, he can counter Oubaali in the early rounds I just knew Oubaali is in big trouble, kinda reminiscent of the Arce fight, I admire Donaire he showed maturity in his game, he is in no hurry to look for a knockout but waited patiently for Oubaali to make a mistake and counter punch him, in the third round Oubaali do no thave answers on how to attack Donaire and Donaire move forward and start connecting, Donaire that Oubaali has nothing left anymore but to move back, Oubaali's defense is so weak at that point.

The fight was nothing for Nonito Donaire because you can see from the start of the round he was hurting Ouballi every time he throw some punches. Too bad for them to give Donaire plenty of time to practice and regain his old skill that has the killer instinct to defeat his opponents. I guess that motivation came up when he lost the fight with Inoue and he is now back with this amazing fight. whoever his next opponent might be, he better prepare to take huge damage in the early round, or else he gonna end up like Oubaali.

Its just sad that this fight is advertise poorly.
I hope Filipinos and the government recognize Donaire the same as what we give to Manny.
He is a great boxer too who give as an honor, a Filipino pride as well.

Bookmakers are completely wrong about the odds given, LOL, while Filipino here knows about Donaire's going to win by knockout or at least take a UD win against Oubaali. No disrespect to Oubaali, but it was a mismatch the way I see it. 4 rounds? championship? easy easy fight for Nonito.

I'm smelling a rematch with Inoue next, unless another Filipino derail this mega-fight, Michael Dasmarinas. So Filipinos are taking over this weight class and we also have hard hitting Casimero and then lesser known Gaballo (WBC interim) who will have a rematch if I'm not mistaken against Rodriguez.

Maybe they based their speculation on the last fight of both fighters where Oubaali won while Donaire lost to Inoue.

But if you watch those fights, you can already speculate on who have the upper hand when these two will meet.

Though Donaire lost that fight, he give Inoue a very tough fight and the Japanese Monster almost lost his crown with that left hook of Donaire while Oubaali simply won in the undercard against another Inoue which to me was not an impressive victory.

Like what Donaire said during the post-fight interview, a rematch with Inoue is all what he want, that would be an exciting one.

In my opinion, Nonito Donaire just has more experience than Oubaali, It was really shown from the way they fight where Oubaali seems aggressive and if you have watched the full fight you can see that Donaire had the upper hand until the end of the fight you can say that the experience from losing to Inoue Naoya has pushed him further Donaire was waiting for an opportunity for a counter-attack.

It's not actually based on experience, if you will look at his last fight, he has more experience than Inoue but Inoue beat him, let's go direct to the real reason, and the real reason is that Donaire is the better fighter than Oubaali and he did have a great game plan in this game and executed it well.

it would be nice to see the rematch against Inoue, we've seen great adjustments with the way Donire fought this match, he really waits for every

opportunities to open up, not too aggressive but the timing was perfect to take down Oubaali,

something that very different from the last fight where he lose the against Inoue, he have that open punch but Inoue ignore those heavy one and absorb his power, for sure this time if in case that the call for rematch happen, Pinoy flash is more ready and he have the adjustments to counter Inoue.

^^ Ok, so Donaire indeed won this fight and show greatness again by coming in with a huge knockout of Oubaali and as I have said, it will create a ripple in this division as there are great champions and opportunities for him. Inoue will be one and then Casimero. But I would rather see Nonito to fight Inoue for a rematch, and not fight another Filipino in the table. Congrats who ride on Nonito for a knock out or even a win.
