What is BKND?

BeKind, or BKND, is a social platform that utilizes the power of cryptocurrency and blockchain. Our first product will be the BKND token, the first Indonesian BSC token as a native means for donations and social projects – to help others in need.  This would be closely followed by a partnership with a charity crowdfunding platform where you can use BKND to donate natively.

Our motto is “Be safe. Be rare. Be kind”.

Safe: funds donated are safe, your privacy is safe, because we will be using the blockchain to donate.
Rare: many projects exist with great missions, but rare is a project that focuses on donating with real impacts, to help ease the sufferings of those in need.
Kind: while the potential of cryptocurrency is huge, we’re not about profits all the time. We believe that the world will be a much better place if we can all be kind to one another.

While there are few donation-centered projects in the cryptoverse, we are the first that will employ a community-based security blanket. Future BKND holders will be entitled to be beneficiaries of regular donation from the charity wallet themselves. They would be able to propose tiered-funding for immediate needs, which would then be voted by the community. The rights to propose funding and to vote are given to anyone who holds BKND.  This way, our token would have real impacts for real people.

“I’ve been working in developmental causes and charity for more than a decade.  Noble efforts notwithstanding, I think it’s a field that can do better in enabling people to give more with less frictions like third party admin fees.  On the buyer's side, we’d also like to see that the money we give really goes to the beneficiary, or at least with reasonable management costs that are not  too high.

On a personal level, I am a crypto investor, but also an HIV+ father with two kids with mental issues.  So, apart from growing my portfolio, I also would like to see and have a community that gives me another layer of security blanket.  I understand the whole adage of “if you have a lot of real problems, then you shouldn’t invest in high-risk instruments”.  

But this always feels weird to me because you can be in a situation where you don’t have problems now, but you still need to have a support system when in the future you run into some issues.  This is the reason why people need insurance, after all.
BKND was conceived as a solution to those issues from real world perspectives.  We can help others and make real impacts, but we should also look for ourselves.  We’ll win together, hand in hand.”

June is only have 11 days left, I think the sales information should be displayed in a few days, considering the time in June is getting shorter to the end. Are you sure you will keep on that time? July is approaching, why not just that month, then the schedule and everything will not be in a hurry.
Also about your team, would you mind to put more information about them? like their social media is printed near them.

Many people are joining the telegram group but there's ZERO engagement, This projects seems a solid one and should be supported by indonesia community. They are one of the biggest movers in crypto market. this could go easily to 10x after listing if the project is done well.

Sorry for the seemingly lack of update. We're still a small team at the moment, but yes - there has been some encouraging progress over the last months!

Just to bring you a bit of an update here:

While we haven't been launched yet, we have already started doing real projects. Since we're a social hub and token, we're all about spreading kindness.

A couple of weeks ago, we concluded our first social project: free oxygen cylinder distribution for COVID-19 patients in some areas of Java, Indonesia.

I really think that people treat with distrust and caution to charity and donation projects, so team need to show at practice they a worth of it. Trust is hard to earn, especially in projects like this, so good luck to the team

To some extent I agree. There have been many causes that try to represent donations, charities, or every other form of kindness movement, that end up as scams. Many cut too much for their so-called "operations"; other times, some projects don't even deliver anything.

We're different, however. And, we back it up not by words only: per my previous reply, we did real thing and we distributed free oxygen cylinders along with Tokocrypto and WeCare.id.

Plus, our ecosystem will answer issues within the donation universe: issues on accountability, transparency, even sustainability.
