It is trying to fix ETH and will become obsolete with ETH2. It is already pumped so not too good for long term investment IMO. Not financial advice though.

Matic is a hot crypto now as their solution with the gas fee is kinda working  and transaction is very fast. Now some investors and traders are considering to shift from ETH and binance to new player such as matic, solana, fantom and avalanche. These 4 are the hot trend now when it comes to scalability. I'm an eth maximalist but of course I need to check other projects with ready made tech for better usage.

Sure. MATIC is better than Dogecoin. MATIC has usecases and good technology but Dogecoin has excessive communities over the globe.

MATIC need more years to have communities like Dogecoin has now or it will never have such big communities like Dogecoin.

Dogecoin is shipped by Elon Musk and when he finishes his targets, Dogecoin will fall back to its real value. I can not say when Elon will withdraw his support and promos for Dogecoin but it will not last forever.

If you invest, MATIC is better and safer.

Mark Cuban was also a part of polygon right now. I do agree with it dude and polygon is still having small cap compared with ADA binance or even ethereum and bitcoin.

Matic and Dogecoin are completely different projects that can not be compared in my opinion. Dogecoin is the mother of all meme-coins and has no real use-case but is very popular in the crypto community. Matic or polygon is a layer 2 solution which wants to resolve the scaling problems of many platforms, especially the scaling problems of the ETH-network. Once ETH 2 with it's proof of stake mechanism is live and running a big use case for matic is gone. Also matic already did a x3 in the last 2 weeks so the best entry point is definitely gone now. If i wanted to invest in matic, i would not do that now but wait for a dip to buy in.

I suggest you wait for a while if you want to invest in Matic because the price is now at $2, which can still increase. You can buy now and hold it but no guarantee that that coin will not go down in the next hour or day, so you need to analyze more to get more information. If you are okay if the price goes down later, you can continue to buy Matic and hold it. And if you choose that way, you do not have to buy in big money because you can buy back for more if the price is down.

Im not sure when ETH2 will be coming and it will make anyother platforms will become obsolete. I think that it will not change a lot. Matic is a second layer solution for ethereum and it's also integrating with ethereum. Why do we need to make another platform became obsolete if we can grow together to make it even bigger than before?
He can get some matic when the dump will be coming again.

Polygon hasbeen increase so high, and can be still have chance to go higher, currently only Polygon that recover fastest to the resistance level, but to gain big profit from it is low probability because the price increased multiple times . In my opinion, for the better looking for other project that used blockchain of Polygon, Quick swap can be has more potential because use smart contract of Polygon with low marketcap and low transaction fee on the platform. I do agree with it even matic is still below doge coin in terms of market capitalization but if we are seeing the chart and matic is not even facing the bearish trend. it got dumped for a while but it can go up again. I don't know why some people keep voting doge coin instead of matic while the fact said that opposite thing if the market was seeing polygon as a new potential project even mark cuban was also seeing this one as a potential platform.
The massive adoption of polygon is about to begin very soon. So many people keep think doge is everything lol

Well, fundamentally speaking, Matic is doing more than Doge. If you're just looking at the price, literally any assets can outperform Doge too. You should stop looking and comparing based on the gain per day. Take a look at their fundamentals, supply, etc and decide whether it's worth or not to invest on them.

I think Polygon is a good option for medium or long term investment.  It does not need to be fomo from Elon, it comes from the improvement of the inherent characteristics of ETH, becoming liberal with Defi, good cross-chain support.  Although, is still not smooth and smooth.  But to me, Polygon has actually gotten better by dealing with the rage from its layer 1 - ethereum origin.

Yes, I agreed that Polygon is much more better than Dogecoin, at least with Matic it is not more on hype only unlike dogecoin is more of hyped in the community through Elon Musk. In fact, I am holding polygon anyhow, even it was a small amount of it but enough to say that it could give a nice earnings in the future, and while it is on stage of cheap price I bought it as long as I have the budget to buy it.

That's quite true. Even I am an ETH long term HODLer but the new projects are quite promising.
I read about the Solana and I can't help myself but investing in it. The tech is great and the team is even better.
It solves everything that ETH lacks. I am happy as well as sad due to this. So I just made the decision to diversify my portfolio.

I think that's the best anybody can do. Buying some is better than buying nothing and regretting later.
