If they are to become legal tender, how exactly should that work? With a supply of 21 mio max and each worth the price of a car, shouldn't it be impossible to break down the coins into fragments? Seriously I believe digital money will soon take over because currently I don't really keep money in my bank account all my money is always in bitcoin and usdt I only withdraw small amount of I need at that moment to my bank account. There's no need for bitcoin to be actually be declared as a legal tender because we as a community have declared it on our own. And it has been used the same way for years and we don't care about the government ruling. When the government declares the same, that's just a bonus of good news.

And you forgot to mention the other difference, bitcoin is a deflationary currency unlike fiat which is an inflationary currency.
