Did you fall for the current dip and sell off

I have friend, and he sold and cash out some his coin because he need money for urgent. But iam still holding strong, keep waiting for another 6 month or 1 year, this is short times for me, because i been waiting for more than 3 years since 2018 for bullish season, and I dont want missing another bullish season. I believe Bullish season 2 will coming in next afew month, and alot of coin will going to new ATH.

There are a lot of reasons why a particular holder tends to sell off their bitcoin from the recent dip;

-sudden need of money
-panic emotions

-buying other coins

Yes sir i am facing  1st 2 thing but i didn't sell anything my wallet has only 10 tk means $0.08 since last 5 days and im my mobile wallet has 300tk = $3.9 thats why i am in home last 5 days. Still i didn't think about selling a 50% loss. I am ready to wait more time but i know this is future and it will finished my all money problem in future. I sold it, And keep everything to USDT, because at the moment the crypto market has not recovered and it took months to become altcoin season or the market is back bullish, I hope it happens again in order to be able to trade and restore my current losses.

to be honest until now I really want to sell the assets that I have. it's just that considering that crypto is currently being watched closely, I think the price will be back up again soon. however, for now I'm just being patient, and holding on. I didn't sold during the last dip, I only sell if I really have to. Just ignore your friends that are pushing you to sell as they've done. Focus on your goal.
If your main goal is to hold, then don't be moved by them and remain focused on your goal of holding. The coins you hold will determine a part of your future.

I agree with you, panic sell will only make you lose your money, but if you hold and don't sell it when the price go down, then of course the money you invest can still grow when the price of coin that you invest increases very high, therefore it is better to hold and wait until the price increases again rather than you do a panic sell.

Don't generalize people that everyone have same kind of minset.

They are probably:
1. Afraid of losing more money, because there is a thing called cut-loss so they wouldn't want to suffer for more loses by just holding the dipped coins.
2. They need a quick money, who knows they need quick money for their urgent needs when the price is dipped.
3. They have set up their goals. Maybe they are in profit?

when the price collapses very deep and I sell it out of panic then it will only make me regret it even more the next day when the price has recovered and rose to be very expensive, so I prefer to wait for the price to rise and be patient.

Indeed no one can guess when you can get big profits from what you already have. You can look at the Doge example, if you had millions of Doge coins last year and you still have them now. what do you imagine? Definitely, it was a feeling when you still don't trust the market and the coin that you are invested in. But I respect them as they have the reason and just wanted to keep safe of their funds that is why I don't have the right to call them weak hands as not all noobs are like that. I didn't do any of your guess. I took the opportunity to take the current dip. Unfortunately, I didn't make the highest profit after the Cartesi trade. Although this isn't a good decision because next time I could lose all of my Cartesi with a low profit. When you realize that your holding altcoins have already pumped unexpected limits, then you can sell them. I won't trade with my holding altcoins.
