Most people experience the same, the value of the assets drop so much more than 50% maybe. As what I am also facing right now. But, what's for selling off these coins right now? Selling them right now only means we are losing our money at all. I am still holding and prefer to hold them at least until the basic funds are back and try another trading again to get profits. Never panic sell when the market dips and when you are not using CL at the right time, you may be better to hold them.

Looking at the price today, I am pretty glad that I sold most of the coins in my portfolio while on the others, I took the capital and let the profits sit there in the exchange spot. Had I not sold majority of my coins, I would've lost a lot. And right now, the only thing I am doing is watching for some significant news or price movents on big exchanges. Only when I get positive news and movements of price will I start rebuying my favorite coins again. I may even choose not to buy some of the coins I had in my portfolio last time anymore depending on their performance.

Honestly wanted to ask and to discovered the newbies among us. i though of creating a vote but it is not Necessary.  i really wanted to ask if there are members of this community that sold off during the last dip thinking that the market has crashed. alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.

Now there is a big demand in Exchanges and they are very popular. But CEX and DEX have their own shortages. It will be good if appear an exchange that will not have have the shortages of CEX or DEX.

I don't understand what people are doing when doge coin was over 0.5$ it seems to be pure greed if you ask me, doge coin is the most profitable coin this bull season because it was dirty cheap in 2020 with even few thousands pieces of doge you are already in money

- Agree, the past is the time when we sow a lot of hope so that the market can strengthen stronger, especially focusing on the projects we want but when the price increase is too stable, we have been less proactive in taking profits and being more greedy besides this market, the subjective situation has caused damage and turned our positions upside down, no longer profitable, all are back to the negative mark. The sell-off is only useful for early adoption, projects are overrated and foolish to invest in, it could be a big failure and we need to deal with it, top altcoins have more respawn conditions but quite a crisis

the decision to sell wasn't a mistake, it could be an anticipation of a deeper decline, and it doesn't mean those who are selling are weak. but please note that the decision to buy and sell must be based on analysis, if you panic buy because of the hype, it will be easy to panic sell when the price slowly falls, we must have a basic analysis in order to have a stand and not be easily carried away by very volatile market currents.

if the market is in a bad trend, there are two options: first, sell immediately before your asset is minus or cut loss, second, choose to hold on as hard as possible until there is a recovery. don't regret whatever the decision is, then my advice is to use free funds so you don't worry too much about this.

greed will conquer everything inside your mind if you don't have preparations, it's sad to say that it's true  instead of taking profits from the last time peak most of those who are trap now are victims of greediness, thinking that the market will continue to grow.

Each time you place your entry you needed to have sets of targets, both ends should  set up correctly, in certain point, if you pinpoint your earn and loss target goals you'll  avoid being trapped,

Time to think for better ways to continue your journey, never to rush your decision as most of the time it leads you to lose your money.

There is no need to regret the steps you have made, because there are many people who are also buying at a higher price than you so they have to be patient waiting for the market to go up as they want, because this is all thanks to Bitcoin's ongoing decline.

To be on the safer side, I always make sure that I listen to my self when I felt something is wrong. Just before bitcoin fell below $40k, there were lots of YouTubers and influencers calling back bitcoin to $50k but then I change all my holdings to Usdt for safety. Not long before market fell to $30k and I was happy I did the right thing.
Always take profit when you can, don't expect bitcoin to make a straight movement to $100k when we don't expect money to be printed purposely for cryptocurrency.

There is not a good thing to cut loss or sell off our assets when the market is still down. I know there is a Cut Loss strategy. But personally, I am not doing it because this is too risky and the drop has been very dipping, I lose more than 50% of my total asset value if I am selling them right now. That is why I will prefer to hold it whatever happens. Although maybe when I really need money cash to my life,I probably will prefer to loan with my family

Selling when the market is dipping is not the best choice to make, and I won't expect anyone to sell when coins is dipping because we have seen Stablecoins dipping several times but they will surely rise above the previous value. So instead of sell while not invest money and buy more coins and if you are scared of putting more money is better to just hold and wait till the coin rise before you sell.

I've been engaged in the crypto world since 2017 but have a hiatus for 3 years and being active again in 2021 so probably I'm still considered myself as a newbie. I've faced some panic selling back in 2017 when I bought it went more down but when I sold it went up and it's really frustrating. Learn from that experience, I didn't too rush to sell my baggage on this bear market, I hold instead. I don't have the bravery to surf the waves, so I just hold and wait for the bull market to come. Dealing with crypto the most important attitude and aspect that you must possess is being calm and patient every time that you see a dip because its normal to see a retracement and correction in the market so always keep in mind that don't panic sell when there is dip but instead accumulate more to get more profit once the market pumps and recovers again.

Keep calm and patient definitely give us power to stay strong in this industry. Change won't come just in over night, it takes some time. When BTC price goes down, everything goes down. But, alt market needs some extra time to go up but BTC should stays up. Panic sold only leads more downtrend of your portfolio. This is life lesson and everyone should go through with it.

I am one of the many persons who has been sold some of my assets when the market suddenly crashes and it is in the very dip when I sold the reason behind this is fear which although I am pretty old in this kind of situation I've still had the fear that the market will go deeper and deeper and another thing is that I've badly need money so decided to sell off my assets just to sustain my needs.
