This is the first successful evolution of Bitcoin  to Bitcoin Eco .We have updated the  Annihilation Ledger  On the 14th at Core launch we will update the Annihilation Ledger  with the corresponding Bitcoin Eco address  from this  Bitcoin  to Bitcoin Eco evolution.

A maintenance Bitcoin Eco node will be established this node will power the Bitcoin Eco network tell the community has enough staking power to run the core network. The job of this  maintenance node is to process blocks and power core network tell Bitcoin Eco users can stake and power the core network. ALL BTCECO this maintenance  node gets in staking rewards while waiting to be taking over by the community will be burnt and sent to an Annihilation addresses  and will be publicly visible on the Annihilation Ledger. All BTCECO coins will be accounted for during this transition to the community.

Stewardship protocol- In the event NOT enough participants are available  to provide a strong decentralized CORE network for Bitcoin Eco the stewardship protocol would be implemented.  The protocol distributes small about of BTCECO to long standing Bitcoin stewards. This will ensure the direction of the Bitcoin Eco project will be protected by steadfast Bitcoin community leaders that have provided the environment for Bitcoin to blossom to what we see today.  These stewards will have just enough BTCECO to stake to ensure maximum decentralization of the Bitcoin Eco Core Network.

The Stewardship protocol will only be enacted in the event not enough early participants evolve  BTC to BTCECO to launch the Bitcoin Eco Core network with maximum decentralization.

Stewards will be selected among the Bitcointalk community. The qualification to be a steward of the Bitcoin Eco CORE network will be determined among the Bitcoin community . Insight will be taken and final selections will be determined by a method deemed decentralized.

I too agree that bitcoin is like the Ford Model T- a game-cha nging breakthrough that was eventually improved upon. Bitcoin attracting more miners to use more energy as the price of BTC goes higher is obviously sub-optimal.

However, there are already a number of coins that are much more energy efficient than bitcoin. While I applaud your efforts, I believe your idea to effectively burn/reduce the circulating supply of BTC will push up the value which only encourages more miners which increases the difficulty formula- more miners and upward difficulty adjustment both result in more energy use, not less. You'd be better off selling the btc and using the proceeds to support the price of your own coin (or buy carbon offsets, or campaign for a carbon tax or any number of other things).

If enough of the Bitcoin community comes together we can evolve enough Bitcoin to render it no longer viable as a vehicle of value. If just 1 major holder of Bitcoin evolved to Bitcoin Eco the masses would follow. The Birth of Bitcoin Eco comes from a place of love for Bitcoin. A mission to save it from itself.  The value transfer is not to destroy Bitcoin but to evolve it.

Very simple. If people don't want to evolve their Bitcoin. It is a free market. We will just purchase Bitcoin and evolve them ourselves. We have NO plan on listing on an exchange. That's is NOT even on the top 20 of our priorities. One day BTCECO will make it to an exchange but not tell we complete our primary mission critical goals. We cannot stop it being listed due to the nature of crypto and open source but we wont be pursuing it. Our main goals are to establish a strong core network. Second would be to establish a diverse community. Bitcoin Eco will be a community driven effort. We have our own developers but the direction of Bitcoin Eco will belong to the community. No one person or groups of people will have sway over Bitcoin Eco. As diverse as Bitcoin is so shall Bitcoin Eco.


We don't want to overpower Bitcoin. We want to Evolve it. We see gross waste of energy and crippling variables that will eventually destroy Bitcoin. That cannot happen and measures must be taken to correct these issues. Not to overtake but to save Bitcoin form itself. No one will ever come forth as say "I created Bitcoin Eco" if they do they are fake. Taken from the great Satoshi . Once the community is well established and a diverse group of Developers are managing the Git . Bitcoin Eco is handed over to decentralized consensus as it should be. For the official RECORD. The Raspberry Pi will bring a lot of fun to the project for sure. It also brings some really neat features to host the Bitcoin Eco Core on. We will have every other wallet available macos, windows, linux, paper-wallet, IOS and android but the Ras Pi will act as a router to add some privacy/utility features coupled with the core.

When you evolve your Bitcoin at a ratio of 1 to 1 these just might be the addresses you will send the BTC to. You might need to research blockchain technology . It doesn't work like that. The Bitcoin Eco Pi is an add on utility. Think of it like a wallet add-on . Its just as secure as Bitcoin network. You couldn't "screw the whole mining eco system" no matter how hard you tried.

Our initial position was to keep track of the evolved Bitcoin but NOT give their correlating BTCECO addresses .This was an attempt to provide privacy to the user evolving their Bitcoin and becoming a Bitcoin Eco user. Unfortunate this wont work.

Solution:

EVERY single Bitcoin Eco from temporary 21,000,000 will have a correlating Bitcoin Annihilation Address or Burn address with provided transaction details. This will give the validity we are in pursuant of.

Every single BTCECO that is NOT sent to an Annihilation Address after the Bitcoin on-boarding period WILL have a correlating Bitcoin Annihilation Address transaction details.

This gives irrefutable evidence that every single BTCECO that is in total supply/circulation is represented by Evolved/ Burnt Bitcoin at a ratio of 1 to 1. Documentation of all evolved transaction will be of public record and fully visible.

And from the evolution ratio is 1 to 1 > like conversion ratio.

Yes it does seem a little confusing. We are simply trying to cultivate our own project specific vernacular. With repetition people will get used to it and we can reference Bitcoin Eco specific functions with fluidity among the community.

Our definitions of Evolved Bitcoin- A Bitcoin that has been sent to an unrecoverable Bitcoin address and can be considered removed from Bitcoin total supply/out of circulation. As this Bitcoin amount becomes unrecoverable and confirmed you are issued Bitcoin Eco- BTCECO at a ratio of 1 to 1.

Example: You just sent 1 Bitcoin-BTC to “1234567BurntBitcoin” address provided by our team. After 6 confirmations . You  supply whatever Bitcoin Eco address you designate to the team member. They will then send you 1 BTCECO. At this time the transaction will be logged and available to the public for proof of evolution/ accountability in the Annihilation Ledger
