Rules for creating a Bounty-Thread

Hi there,

I want to start a bounty for our project. What are the rules and mechanisms in the "Bounty" subforum regarding the visibility and order of threads? Are all threads considered equal or are there boosts e.g. for threads opened by more senior members?

Last time I posted an announcement in the "Token Announcements" forum it started on page 3, so quite no one could see and read it.

I just want to make sure that it is not waste of time before putting significant effort into creating a bounty thread...

Never bumped any threads, but I believe it is gotta do something with the "bump power" that's why your announcement started in page 3.

Only you and other members with rank from Newbie to Member made posts in that topic. It is logical that it can not be seen in the first page. Participants in that topic has low ranks, low earn merits and low or zero bump power. See as follows

Base bump power

Your base bump power is the smaller of these two values:
 - The activity you would have if you'd signed up 1 year ago.
 - The merit you've earned in the last year.

If it's zero (as it will be for newbies), then you don't bump at all.

The bump score is applied to prevent shit topics with bumping services get free space to be always appeared in the first page and on the top. It is not my offense to your topic, I am saying about the rule and usecase of the bump score.

Beyond the base bump, there are mini bump and super bump.
