So now that bitcoin is recovering well from it's drop we can expect a bull run again.
We all know how Elon pumped and then dumped the market through his influential tweets.
This what happens when people listen to others blindly and invest.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research) is the approach that everyone should follow.
Don't panic sell. There will be many such waves and many such influential people who might try to manipulate the market again.
HODL has always proved to be strong.

Why this thread ? - It's more like a wake up call to newbies and all those who blindly follow others.

i never listened to him but at the same time i was happy that someone as influential had gotten interested in bitcoin specially since he wasn't like most people who only talked about price and the moon. he seemed interested in bitcoin as the decentralized currency.
little did i know that he was a wolf in sheep clothing.

what we need to remember is that next time someone similar comes along to hype things up we should welcome them but also ignore their "hype" and don't give them the attention they may be seeking to later on use to scam people.

I don't know about that. I was wondering if he anticipated a drop to $30K before he tweeted about Tesla's diamond hands. Perhaps he got nervous too and had to do something to keep their assets up.

I never did listen to him even when he was promoting Doge and others are gaining from it,
I admit that I was tempted but I know how it works and I don't want to be caught up by it or lose my money because of my greed,
I knew that he would just be another clown or manipulator on crypto when he was so eager to promote Dogecoin.

How come such a knowledgeable person who can find a fatal flaw in bitcoin's energy consumption not care about electricity wastage and still design electric cars ?

He will win by accumulating all the Dogecoins and pumping it's price but you will lose listening to him blindly.

What do you mean by saying "recovering well"? Because that's not really the case. I just checked the price currently (because I don't check it every day). I wouldn't call this "recovering".
On top of that Bitcoin is still in a 'dangerous' period. In fact, there are many of us who think it will go down more than we have already see.

Why do you guys keep listening E. Musk? He's only good for the low information voters. He's playing with people using his influence on Twitter. If you skip this guy you will remove a lot of useless noise. I don't care if he's a billionaire or poor. It doesn't change my opinion.
He was not the person responsible for the crash. Even if he can have some influence, a person like him can't move Bitcoin's price as much as we've seen.
The good news is we got again a purge of weak hands and people only interested in Bitcoin for the money.

This crash was predicted by many of us, and we didn't need this person. Check out the history you will see it was so predicatble

I can't imagine if a day Jesus Christ comes back and join Twitter to tweet about BTC lol. It will be either the Apocalypse or giant orgies in the streets

I never listened to Elon Musk because he is a dictator in which he is just trying to manipulate the people and even the market of Doge coin and XRP is trying to manipulate. The thing is that certain coins are dumping and pumping just by the tweets of Elon Musk, which is very manipulative person. I believe that DYOR or Do your own research is the best thing to do in order to find a good project wherein you can take profit on it. Please stop following and listening to Elon Musk because he is an indicator when it comes to the market.

I was quite busy with TA and Price Action on my chart I never bother to read Elon Musk tweets once the market is bearish I will wait for potential short trades based on candlestick chart patterns and pull the trigger I don't want to know whether the market bearish sentiment was a result of Elon Musk tweet, if the market turns bullish I will also wait for potential trading setup based on my strategy and take a long trade thus not I am not bother to listen to any news I focus on my charting analysis.

I agree with you on this absolutely. People should learn to do their own research. The worst thing to do is just following some influential people's opinions. It absolutely increases the risk you've taken.

Just thinking of those who was influenced by elon's tweet and bought dogecoin at the pick price because coinbase listing won't have that much effect on dogecoin as compare to other coin listing. So, never ever follow any influencers as they'll come into this market and play around for their own profits. After bull run, most of them will leave this market eventually. So, it'll be great to dyor for anything and don't get into fomo for any situation whether it's bull or bear market. But professional analyst can take advantage of others fomo in the meantime. As always, dyor and don't believe everything from any influencers.

from the beginning I did not refer to the words of this billionaire. but I always follow and see from his posts on twitter and various other media. but that doesn't mean I'm going into the flow he created.
I just follow the info and everything he makes, apart from that I decide for myself what I choose and don't go with the flow of the doge pump and so on.
because I think the pump he made is too risky to follow and I am only a trader with a small capital if I get carried away and enter into greed I will lose in the end

I think the bitcoin community has herd immunity to Elon & China FUD now. Bitcoin goes on, blocks are mined every 10-20 minutes with or without their blessings. Ignore their noise & focus on the big picture.

3rd option for me as well, OP.

I am not a celebrity-driven holder. There are others here that are the same that I mentioned as well.
I was just aware of the news about Tesla allowing and pulling out Bitcoin payments as well as Elon Musk hyping the coin, but I did not really care. I am just frustrated that there were many weak holders after Musk said "something" about Bitcoin being bad for the environment.

Elon is alot of things but DUMB is NOT one of them. If Elon is throwing shade on Bitcoin it's because a shift is coming. Elon made his fortune pinpointing shifts.
