Frankly, I agree regarding the future of most meme tokens. The vast majority of them are scams and rug pulls and deleterious to crypto and the general economy.
Pupper is ultimately aiming to be more of a global brand than a meme token.
Our goal when we founded Pupper was to create a project that would:
a) be fun and super memorable.
b) leverage that distinctive brand to generate a more sustainable and ultimately larger donation to these four non-profits than if we had simply donated directly. It's worth noting that after one month, we've already exceeded that goal (the original contribution to our Uniswap LP was 5.5ETH, worth about $12.5k at the time. Last week we hit around $16k in fully-vested donations.)
c) put a growing spotlight on these incredibly important non-profits and encourage folks to donate to them directly. Over the weekend, community members designed and launched our first merch-line (that looks fly-as-hell by the way) with all the proceeds directly donating to Watsi, Tor Project, the Internet Archive, and EFF:

Additionally, the community just voted in favor of a ✨Meme Contest✨which will pay out billions of PUP from our treasury to fund Twitter-posted memes centered around themes related to our associated charities (digital privacy, healthcare innovation, free internet, etc.). In order for those submissions to count, folks will have to tag those charities in their Twitter posts.
