I like the project and have been watching it for several weeks. The only thing I don't like is the invasion of spam bots in this thread.

Yeah, that active spamming by dummy accounts is a extremely unfortunate thing for this project, even though it has reached a hard cap, means investors trust them, but this shows bad behavior. No matter if this is rented outright or any other reason, this should stop immediately.

i very well agree here. spamming or using noob accounts to bump their thread is not a very smart idea to promote their project. as they already reached their hard cap, there's no reason to spam their thread with these new accts.
if they do believe their capability here, they will stop deploying the use of bumping service. because if that will continue, i dont think many people will have the interest to read a thread full of spam posts.

Bit disappointing to a lot of people here, lots of spam which shouldn't make things worse. but I don't understand their way of thinking to do something like this. is this one of the newest ways of them? is this a strategy?

Like any project, there are areas that could flag up potential concern but we believe that by identifying them early, we can build the business case to accommodate for this.

One concern is whether larger, established stores with their own rewards scheme will resist moving onto Shrew Rewards. However, we have established that working with smaller, local stores and e-commerces to begin with and using them as a driving force for the larger stores to adopt the rewards can help with the attraction of adopting Shrew. Either way, we anticipate a large interest and uptake from local stores since many cannot afford implementing reward programmes. If we are looking at the way our economical world is being shaped through blockchain, what Shrew offers is something affordable and appealing to your average retailer.

Another concern could be manipulation of reward points once implemented. How can we stop reward point fraud? Traditional rewards point schemes face massive losses from individuals that 'game' the system through loopholes such as purchasing items, earning points, then returning the items. Effectively they keep the points in this way and traditional systems don't have the technical facilities to reimburse the store with the points when returns of goods are made.

We have come up with a few ways of dealing with this problem and saving retailers from losses however this needs to be developed further.

Everything takes time and to revert back to the question this can be a disadvantage for some.  The crypto space has conditioned some investors for instant results which unfortunately is not going to be the case for our project. We take pride in the steps we take to ensure a bullet proof product is available to market.

There is not a project out there that is aiming to achieve a universal reward point using blockchain solution. There is a Japanese project, however it operates similar to credit card cash back which is restrictive to only thought that fit a financial criteria. Shrew however doesn't require you to meet a financial criteria to be a Shrew card holder. We also offer a number of features on the Shrew App once it's developed that no other project is providing.

We are really pleased with the working with Chainlink. The price feed will speed up development time and also give us an opportunity to co-market with Chainlink too which is great. I have been reading the comments and can't seem to understand what you refer to spam bots, I don't get the impression that there are questions on here that are not valid or related to the project. Could you give me an example?

i dont know how far this platform will go but hopefully investors have done their job of risk assessment before buying their tokens. we dont know if they can indeed attract merchants that will use their app and be partner for these loyalty rewards. sometimes, the concept is great but implementation is another thing. and implementation stage is usually most projects failed.
much better if they already convinced one or two merchants that will collaborate on their app, before asking money from public investors.

I have written this a few times on this thread about our plan to get merchants onboard. There is a clear strategy.

Shrew will offer reward scheme to local and e-commerce stores that may not have one in place or cannot afford to run one.
The appeal to be part of the Shrew ecosystem will grow as more merchants sign up. From market research, this is not going to be a difficult process to get local stores adopting Shrew.

The resistance will come with larger stores but we feel that with enough smaller stores joining the ecosystem globally, we will gain enough momentum to get larger stores onboard, but whether they join or not, the local and ecommerce market is huge and enough to make Shrew a household name globally.
