I had thought his failure at capitalism was simple ineptitude.
Can you explain this? He lost the election, but I don't understand why you say that. Precisely Trump knows how capitalism works and by removing regulations and lowering taxes he made the American economy work like it hadn't for a long time, which I know are not the kind of measures you like, but I don't see the point in saying that he failed at capitalism.
I was referring to his activities as an individual...
The Times obtained Donald Trump’s tax information extending over more than two decades, revealing struggling properties, vast write-offs, an audit battle and hundreds of millions in debt coming due. [...] Ultimately, Mr. Trump has been more successful playing a business mogul than being one in real life.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/09/27/us/donald-trump-taxes.htmlThe question of the impact of his presidency on the US economy is obviously a more complex one, and deserves a serious analysis... but probably not in a joke thread.

So, possible war with China is nothing new... and through many presidencies up to the present. It's just that there is a current look to it that suggests it might break out into physical fighting this time.
I suppose it's a rare point of agreement between us that the US and China don't see eye-to-eye, and that there is a degree of antipathy and hostility. I just don't see that this will manifest as what would be a hugely expensive physical conflict, that would ultimately damage the victors almost as much as the losers. China aren't able to use tanks and guns to conquer the US, and vice versa. Conflicts between major nations are more abstracted nowadays. Trade wars, cyberwarfare, PR, etc. Any physical conflict is limited to proxy fighting in other geographical arenas.
We need to buy and build more guns.
You're ready, aren't you?
Gun ownership laws are pretty strict where I am (a small island in the North Atlantic). I think I'd need a police license or something. This is a good thing — I wouldn't imagine I'd be particularly competent with a weapon
