I had a dogecoin account from 2017 on an iPhone that didn’t require any login or password, just a passcode. Now I’ve changed phone numbers and phones and can’t get my old account! I sent a support request way back in February, and Freewallet asked for selfies of me with driver’s license, screenshot of their “I am who I say I am” statement, and bank statement with my address, all of which I sent them. They also wanted me to start a new account, which I did, including setting up and enabling 2FA, sending them more selfies, and it still shows the identity verification still pending over a month later. They sent me at least three replies stating:
Hello,
Due to the current network conditions, we're getting more and more requests every day. Because of the significant volume of support tickets, we're currently unable to do detailed research on each of them, as the average research time for a single ticket is around 30 minutes. With thousands of new tickets coming every day, it would take months to process all of them. That is why we're closing all open tickets at this point.
I just kept replying, but their eventual reply back would be to ask for the same selfies again, which I would send again! Then they had the nerve to state I hadn’t enabled 2fa, to which I replied with screenshots showing I had, and the app showing it was enabled.
I’ve sent them all and any info they requested and needed to get my old account back, but they just endlessly stall. I’ve even roasted them on the App Store review, and haven’t gotten a response in 4 days, which is unheard of. I have whatever the dogecoin price is followed by two zeros in dollars, which is worth pursuing.
I’ve seen some people who posted get their problems resolved finally, but a few others never.
If you’re reading this, Freewallet, use my ticket number on the subject line of this post, find my email address and read every single email I’ve sent your for the last 4 years, you have no excuse to ask for more info, you have everything you need in those email threads. I know you can see my accounts under my Apple ID.
Restoring my access should take mere minutes.
