Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work?

Bounty hunters are not always getting good payments if tokens are listed on the exchange. Because if the tokens are not given to the hunters, then what is the benefit of the hunters from the tokens listed in the exchange?  Such as MAI tokens. Now the new trend has started. Bounty allocation is being reduced whenever the project is successful and the token price goes up.

I agree with your statement that "You don't always get a good payout" when hunting for bounties, but every hunter doesn't have to equate all campaigns with the same or judge them the same, because every bounty campaign always has a different team even though it is held by the same manager, so you have to know how to sort this out, because good payouts are only for good project teams and those with good development, because if I look at the case you said, then it's not only MAI that is like that, but BEZOP in The past was the same, meaning the project was running very successfully and was listed on the stock exchange, but the hunters' pay never existed.

If that's clear, because I also always analyze every bounty that I participate in so that I can make my own conclusions before following it carefully, especially if the token is already on the exchange, this will really help the bounty participants in making a certain amount based on the allocation that has been made provided on the bounty page itself.

Yeah, they scale up the amount you would receive in terms of $ worth, no fixed amount of token/coin so the paying is kinda low with only a couple bucks per week. All the good-paying bounties and airdrops are full or limited. Thought I think bounties and airdrops are still worth as long you can join in the good-paying or cherry pick a really promising one to join in.

I promoted five different projects to get a good one that cover for the hassle on all the five projects, all other four failed this is what bounty hunters can't escape, not all projects you promoted will be very good but few good ones are still available, if you are determined and less lazy you will eventually stumble on a promising project

Airdrop and bounty is still a good job and worthy of choice, I am grateful to have known bitcointalk as a ray of light during this difficult covid19 pandemic.  Although, our selection of projects is mandatory to create valuable proof of labor and most of the time it is a disappointing scam.  But it's like life, nothing is easy for anyone who doesn't want to work hard.
No one gives you the option of working for free like here.  With a little luck we can earn money to spend in life or maintain a normal life during this pandemic.

If you are someone who likes to give up easily then bounties aren't for you because you will be disappointed many times and there is no way to escape this even if you are a pro, crypto space is full of scam projects here and there and some bounties will look so legit in the eye only to run away with investors fund later on, I'm just saying be prepared for the worst

So far I'm very comfortable with my work in the real world and also in the cryptocurrency world with some that I do and one of them is working on bounties, it doesn't bother me and my time at all, because I'm not hunting for all the new bounties, but just researching some bounties that I think can be very suitable to work on, because I never waste time on unclear bounties.

If you can do good research of project, it doesn't have to be that bad. If you check all the details and experience of the dev team, you can significantly reduce the risk that the project will turn out to be a scam.
Also pay attention to who is the campaign manager. Always choose campaigns managed by experienced bounty managers.

Not all airdrops is a waste of time, just most because they require little or no effort so the chance you got something valuable out of it is very low. For bounties, it is completely different as if there is a bounty then it might be a good one. In the end, I think whether it is worth or valuable is depend on how the airdrops or bounties conduct. If it was easy then of course chance reward will become worthless.

But anyway, I personally don't think it's necessary to try to make a lot of money from the airdrop, because the field is so vast and there are so many ways to generate income, dyor everything about it.

So why every time I said people, Don't join random bounty/airdrop. before joining any bounty try to do some research. What's about the project, What is the main concept, who is the developer, Which problem solution they will provide, Is there any real-life use or not, etc? I know it is very hard to find out a legit project but it's not impossible. When you wanted to join any bounty, Try to check the bounty manager's reputation also. Because a good reputation person never will bring any scam bounty. Try to join those bounties that are managed by some good managers. It's not possible to join any bounty by reading the whitepaper, So if you follow the above tips you may get some legit bounty. But it's not guaranteed. Scammers are more powerful right now.

Maybe we start out with a pretty similar approach to the field, and when it comes to how we feel about it and know how to generate income, it feels like such a thing is really a waste of own time. There are more things to care about instead of judging whether it's good or not, mate . Perhaps at some point they will feel the same way you and I feel about this market.

Airdrops at the moment when it comes to this program the average of the community who do not believed in this are only few, it is still the majority of them believed and participate in the airdrops, and yet when it comes into payment a lot of them got disappointed, then for the bounties it is also hard so far to determine if it is legit or not.

As most people here already said, Airdrop is waste of time. Yes, That's true. But still, there are a few legit airdrops available but for this, you need to do research. Nowadays dex exchange providing airdrop for the user. For this you need to do some swaps using their exchange, Maybe it's not so easy as most of the airdrop. But it's really worth it. DYDX airdrop huge amount of money for their user. Now I am looking for some DEX who has not yet provided any airdrop for the user. Those airdrops are really worth it.
Metamask is on my list for this now. Will do some swap using Metamusk for the airdrop.
