What is the best theter wallet?
I have just searched through the coinmarketcap just of recent, I did not see any coin called theter, or did you mean tether? There is another coin called theta. Which of the two are you talking about?

The most secure and safe wallet for tether are hardware wallets like trezor or ledger nano, but if you need hot wallet for it, there are some wallets that support it, but all that I know are close source unlike bitcoin that we still have open source wallets for. I used Trustwallet for tether, it even support TRC20 USDT, but it is close source wallet.

EOS is cheap and fast, i use Anchor wallet to interact with EOS, the only problem is Tether from EOS not listed on many exchange. Also for registering a wallet on EOS you need to pay some money.

Just use trustwallet since it supports different USDT from different blockchain, So you can choose which network suits you and the blockchain that offers the lowest fee when moving USDT.

Does the trustwallet support the web version?
For @Op, please use metamask, it's a browser app extension based wallet which I think is the best (for now). You can also activate the BSC network if you want lower fees for your transactions.

Is there any reason why you need a web based wallet? Do you need it to interact with a dapp? If that's the case, maybe check out what kind of wallet that dapp supports first. If TrustWallet is supported, I also think that using it should be good enough. Just don't store a lot of money there, it's not for long term storage.

Myetherwallet.com or mycrypto if you're using USDT ERC20 protocol. You should be familiarize which type of protocol you've got. TRC20 (TRON-USDT) is cheaper but ERC20 got cheap fees lately too.

I suggest you at least use software wallets like Trustwallet if you can afford Hardware wallets. The web based versions of wallets you are looking for are the least secure and there is a very high chance of you phishing attacks when using them or even getting hacked. For example the official tether wallet which is a web wallet was hacked in 2017 and 31 Million was of USDT was lost. The cheapest most common way of moving USDT is through USDT (TRC20) so any software wallet that supports Tron and TRC20 tokens can be used as a wallet such as coinomi, exodus, jaxx wallet, atomix wallet etc.

Wallet provider doesn't decide the transaction fee, it is from the Mempool so no matter what kind of wallet you choose the fee is going to depends on how many unconfirmed transactions are pending on ethereum network. If you are looking for web based wallet then MEW is the best ever wallet in terms of convenience.

I do not agree with you. In term of safety, I will recommend hardware wallet like Trezor and Ledger Nano, but in term of convenience, I will recommend Trustwallet, but it is close source wallet. Is MyEtherWallet an open source wallet? Also is MyEtherWallet supporting TRC20 USDT? Also is it supporting BEP20 USDT? These are the two that can be sued with low fee. I will not suggest anyone to use Omini layer and ERC20 USDT because the fee is too much, but trust wallet support all, even including the BEP20 and TRC20.

Metamask is the best web based wallet that I know, it's the best for connecting to any website with easy operation and transaction fee is low too but not as low as TRX-USDT and I'm not so sure that Tron network can run on metamask

Is MyEtherWallet an open source wallet?
It's open source, you can check the source code here https://github.com/MyEtherWalletAlso is MyEtherWallet supporting TRC20 USDT? Also is it supporting BEP20 USDT? These are the two that can be sued with low fee.
MEW doesn't support Tron network, only support Binance Smart Chain but you need to add each token you want to use yourself. You need to add the smart contract, token symbol, and decimals... however it's a bit complicated and need to be careful. Since it's talking about Low fee and Web wallet, Trust wallet is the best answer.

The fee is low for any erc20 transfer because the network doesn't have any traffic just as before. But whenever the fees goes up again, even if it's Metamask. The network will decide if the fees will be expensive or remain to be cheap, it's always dependent to the network.

Almost all the wallets you mentioned are close source, is Trezor not supporting ERC20, Omini layer and TRC20? Then why is it not included. There are some wallet you mentioned like MyEtherWallet that do not support TRC20 USDT, any wallet that does not support TRC20 should not be considered. The best wallet for tether are TRC20 token wallets which have low fees.

If you need a wallet with low transaction fees and then you must use TRC20 USDT to make it happen. There are some wallets that were supporting TRC20 USDT
1. token pocket 2. tronlink 3. mathwallet but you can also use multiwallet
If you wanna store ERC20 USDT and then you can try to use mycrypto or MEW as webwallet.

Sometimes just copying without knowing what kind of wallet you are suggesting to someone is not cool. This kind of wallet in particular is not good. Here's the reason The web based versions of wallets you are looking at are the least secure and there is a very high chance of you getting phishing attacks when using them or even getting hacked. For example, the official tether wallet which is a web wallet was hacked in 2017 and 31 Million was of USDT was lost. Tether is ethereum smart contract right ?
USDT uses so many networks, not just Ethereum 1. USDT OMNI - Uses bitcoin network 2. USDT TRC20 - Uses Tron network 3. USDT BEP20 - Uses Binance smart chain 4. USDT BEP2 - Uses binance Chain 5. USDT EOS - Uses EOS Blockchain 6. USDT ALGO - Uses Algorand network 7. USDT SOL - Uses Solana network
