The private key (in both printed and hand-penciled form – to last generations) are housed in an aluminum centerpiece and sealed between dual Tungsten barriers cut on this industrial water jet. A small disc of mineral glass sits between tungsten barriers, designed to shatter upon manipulation. High resolution photos and video have been recorded for future authentication. (Thank you, Hox)  

This is the second and likely the last time I’m asking for creations of mine to be funded - the first being with the Thug Life bills. The funding of this series is essential to a story that concludes in the year 2030, when 1.5625 btc equals one bitcoin block. Each Messenger sold to date has been funded, and I’m seeking bidders who are wanting to adhere to this precedent. A portion of funds collected are being set aside for future creative marketing endeavors and press opportunities for Messengers, which is positioned to become a talking point as the years progress - especially around future halving events and on the maturity date of each messenger group.

The amount of 1.5625 btc will be collected (on top of the winning bid) and will sit in escrow until your Messenger arrives to you, at which point funds will be released to the bar.

Auction Terms:

Starting Bid:  0.01 btc

Bid Increments:  0.01 btc (or multiples of)

Bid Format: 0.01 btc

Auction end time *if there are no bids in the final 10 minutes:

Auction Ends: Sunday, June 13th, 9PM Pacific (California)

The auction will end at the time stated above unless there is a bid placed in the final 10 minutes of the auction. If a bid is placed within the final 10 minutes of the auction, the new auction end time will be 10 minutes after the last bid. (i.e. if a bid is placed at 8:51pm, the new auction end time is 9:01pm) The auction end time will then extend 10 minutes ad infinitum until no new, valid bid has been placed for 10 minutes.

I may exclude bidders, or require a deposit for any bidders at my discretion. If you are a new account but a previous customer of mine, please PM prior to bidding to introduce yourself.

Forum downtime:  If the forum goes offline in the final 4 hours of the auction I may extend or relist the auction.

Sold Unfunded: Bidders are wanting to help see this project through to completion by funding their messenger.

I hope that all the newbies popping up near the end didn’t spook anyone away… wasn’t sure exactly how to handle this in the final minutes without turning the thread into a clusterF. I looked through each bidders comment history and didn’t see anything that might be perceived as suspicious so just let it run it’s course. And the winning bidder I actually know quite well - they are a customer from a few years back who hand-made me a really cool gift which I’ll share here with their permission.
