anyone know how to get nicehash to read the temp on this card?

since that card has a factory waterblock it doesn't have a fan and the temp reading seems to be ignored by nicehash.  doesn't even list it.   I have to be standing over the card or the rig to read its temp off the hashing software of what ever its mining or a laser thermometer,  and they disagree by quite a bit.  I believe my laser thermometer over the software.

mining software lists it over 80C  the laser thermometer lists it around 50C.  you can touch the block without burning yourself so  50C it is.

Believe your thermometer.
If you did not change your GPU it may be Nicehash error. But you can test it using for example - HiveOS. If it will how the same as Nicehash - it can be a problem. But it may be problem with some sensor.

What's the result from another software such as HWInfo? Maybe your card is indeed really hot but the contact with the waterblock is bad, or there is one or two spot that's really hot and it doesn't transfer heat properly to your cooling solution. Better be safe, 30 degrees difference is quite big.

its a new gpu to me.  because it came with a factory waterblock and no pump i got it cheapish.(nothings really cheapish atm)  i got a rather large rad for it. its 3 120mm fans long and 1 fan high.   single fan added to the rad after a day brought the temp down to 30ish C at the rad intake still cant get software to give me a good reading on this card.

Also for shits and giggles I bought a WISH 1060 6G for under 150.  decent shipping time as well under 4 weeks it claims!   We Shall See if I Manage to Acquire A Deal  heheh if its traditionally late from wish I will just go  Money Back  Now Please.

Well, if HW info and other popular gpu reading software failed to give you a good reading, maybe there's a problem on the card sensor. But that's unlikely, especially if it's a new gpu from a "good" brand. What card is it btw?

Don't gamble on wish dude, most of those low-end card are just a refurbished GT 710/750. Might as well donate your money to me instead of buying those crappy cards.
