Hi,

I suppose that at least 90% percent of the members here are libertarians or something similar.
And its quite known that this probably is the most skilled community in the world, concerning informatics, bitcoin and technology (I'm an exception here, by the way).

But I need to notice that, in the war of "U$" against "Them", in a war for freedom, we need a strong culture. To conquer it and keep it.

I'm proposing that we take a closer look on this subject. It's quite hard to fight tyranny with just a feel, and people with social knowledge, with philosophy, ethical and legal skills are required.

Maybe discussions about it already exist. Then let me know about.

And one question: there is any project that tries to create a manner to finance cultural content in the Crypto community? Like "crypto-starter" or something. Or a way that create incentives to learn about crypto and liberty while doing something useful. Put brains to make PoW, so to speak.

Educacional content included. I'm from South America. In my country, we have been to a lot of bad things just because collectivists in general (leftists, in this case) were (still are) in control of the universities. They educated my fathers generation, and may father generations educated mine. And it's a mess. "The pan is heating". I quite young, and I don't have what is common known as "hope" about my country, state, and community.

I just hope ('-') I can build my Galt Valley.

But who is John Galt?

John Galt i$ Satoshi Nakamoto.

No one will pay you to learn anything that is unbiased. The closest you'll find is coinbase earn, but they don't teach about bitcoin they teach the others.

You could always have a click through topics on this forum though to learn quite a bit (if you track topics that already have a few replies, any inaccuracies in the original post will probably have been fixed).

The best place to start is probably the whitepaper or wiki pages ( eg the bitcoin wiki at bitcoin.it and normal Wikipedia år epretty good for giving simple, to the point but useful information on topics and links the provide external references/information).

2. Earn (CoinMarketCap)
3. 1729 (by Balaji Srinivasan)

^None of which are a cryptocurrency though (which is good, I guess?).

Bitcoin already has a strong culture, or something related to it. A community where everyone is free to make their own choices and use it the way they like. There is no group of elites who can make decisions or create sponsored learning groups. Bitcoin is already a global topic and anyone who desires freedom would gravitate towards it.

The best place to start is probably the whitepaper or wiki pages ( eg the bitcoin wiki at bitcoin.it and normal Wikipedia år epretty good for giving simple, to the point but useful information on topics and links the provide external references/information).
The Bitcoin whitapaper may be a bad place to start. It contains lots of complex information and calculations that would be gibberish to a complete noob. Bitcoin wiki would be helpful, but the user would also benefit from being a part of a group, like this; where they can freely ask questions and learn from discussions.

Binance academy. What you'll learn from there can be use to earn cryptocurrencies in trading and other things that you can read there.

I don't think we're all libertarians. Probably only half or less of us, but we likely make the most noise here.

But I think it makes no sense to pay people to learn about Bitcoin. This isn't a doctrine but something you should theoretically seek yourself. Once this becomes incentivized, it automatically cancels the actual purpose of cryptocurrencies providing liberty. We're supposed to be brought all together not by force.

Binance's lessons are imo the best you can get at this point, next to the Bitcoin Wiki.

If you face the reality: No...

Libertarianism is similar to anarchism and there are definitely not many people here who adhere to this political philosophy. You only need to look at the user's speeches to see that.
Although it was the motivation in the early days of Bitcoin, the mentality has faded away. There is now a very small minority who actually have that mentality. I concur with @20kevin20's opinion.

No doubt when it comes to Bitcoin, but when it comes to informatics or technology, not at all. All you have to do is to get used to surfing forums on the web.

Most of the persons you see in the crypto world are only interested in money and speculating. Bitcoin is considered as their cash cow and anything else is not interesting. I take BTC as an example but it's the whole crypto market. If a day BTC goes down to $10, they all will leave.
Paying people to learn about cryptos is something <eird for me. And seeing the mentality with money we should not worry. When it's about making money people learn without being rewarded.
