In my opinion, the safest altcoins to hold during a bear market are BNB and ETH, because these two coins have become an important part of the crypto world, and are very low-risk coins.

Binance is kinda best and ethereum as well, but lets not forget Ripple in which can make ups and downs also.

I also like the way you work to make small but daily profits with what you invest. But I also keep some coins for long term investment. But not from the money for daily meals. This depends on how well you manage finances.

Of course it is very suitable to hold it in the long term and I think it is the right choice,

This is the advice you give? It goes up because Bitcoin goes up? That happen to all other coins in the market, following Bitcoin trend is not a reason to buy an altcoin.
If you buy an altcoin in bear market then you have to think that it will go up higher than Bitcoin, otherwise why would you buy it anyway? Bull run start with Bitcoin price movement first, altcoins then follow.
OP said exchange coins have utility but their performance is not always good. Check out GT for example, Gate Token. It goes down faster than other coins.

It's hard to risk holding or buying new altcoins during the bear market so I'll choose to hold potential coins since they provide good assurance of recovering.

I reckon the best cryptocoins to buy as long term investments during bear markets might be those exchange utility tokens like FTT and BNB. Exchanges always collect revenue in bull and bear markets and this gives the tokens some fundamental backing. Also, the utility of those tokens in their corresponding exchanges create a demand for them.

I strongly support opinions like quality and useful tokens like BNB would be very well held in the long run. in fact, when we look at the chart from CMC, we can say conclusions about it. besides, CZ, CEO of Binance is always making developments to enlarge binance.
So, I agree that use and utility tokens like BNB will have a high price in the future, and are well worth holding on to.

There are a lot of altcoin worth to HODL for few more years but the question is how long you will wait till we all be in alt season. ADA, EOS, XRP and other small marketcap altcoins worth investing. The main ones are mentioned on thread but at the end it is your own preference to invest it or not. Buying low marketcap altcoins have a better potential compare to the top altcoins, the boost will be huge on the small marketcap ones but the same percentage will be smaller on top coins.

BNB and other exchange altcoins have lost their credibility as the main investment payment method for cheaper investment costs. The BNB can drop a lot if the Binance fail to comply the regulation on the first world countries, even UK government is not OK with the running policy by the Binance team. Imagine one bad news from UK and Binance team will not be able to convince the BNB investors to not sell their investments. The staking and other monthly reward packets are lucrative but it doesn't worth spending a lot of money to get low rewards.

Lol Yeah Ethereum is one of the best to hold in Bear market but it is Binance and Litecoin is my vote.

During bear market (before sideways market starts) you are best to hold only stable coins like USDT and wait for the bear market to end. When a sidewards market begins you can start to buy back your coins and tokens fast at a low price.

Agreed, however, exchange tokens with quality like BNB and FTT might not behave similar to much of the altcoins that pumped during the bull market where they are certain to lose 90% of value and never recover.

Lol Yeah Ethereum is one of the best to hold in Bear market but it is Binance and Litecoin is my vote.

I will not be strong if the bears are so severe I will stay if the market conditions are like now it doesn't matter I will still continue to stick with a few altcoins of my choice BNB is one of them, but for now it is still quite stable but I will not be too calm because if someday it can happen then I am ready to sell it and secure assets in stable coins so as not to reduce the value later if the bear is really angry.

But for now Ethereum congestion is back to normal and costs are low but still this will be the lowest on the BSC network, but I will support and hold both coins for now with a few percent profit but I won't hold back any longer because of the conditions The market is still fluctuating.

If you have been in here on 2018 and other past bear markets, there were a lot of them that survived.
