History does not always repeat itself and we can not put our whole lives and capital or savings with history patterns, fractals. People can feel more interested in Bitcoin investment, more adoption might occur but together with opportunities and growth, governments will become more seriously control the market.

$100k for Bitcoin. It is possible but I don't know how long this bearish time will last and when it will finish. It can be a mini bear market or a big bear matter and it can last for a few months or a few years. I don't know. I am thinking of the first scenario (mini bear market) but I don't exclude the second scenario (big bear market)

Yes we can make reference to previous cases of btc price corrections and outcome, but things don't always turned out to be same, however if this time will be similar to 2013, then there is a high possibility that the market will comeback in full swing and btc will record a new ath, there are lot of anticipation about end of year, hopefully this will happen.

When I was browsing, I've found people find it funny that they've seen predictions like bitcoin hitting $100k at the end of this year. But they don't find it funny when the fact that bitcoin has dropped half and then suddenly it's starting to recover. I don't know what's the matter with these people finding it funny to see such predictions. They didn't know even there were crazier predictions in the past and they've laughed when someone has said that bitcoin might surpass its past ATH @ $20k and it did. The discouragement that these corrections are bringing are really bringing them down and losing hope.

For me, every year Bitcoin is on-trend. Every year there is a lot of adoption for Bitcoin.
Even the price of Bitcoin for a certain year is not that so good as pumping, the trend is still there. Lots of good news coming in Bitcoin every year and I believe it will continue to these coming yearrs.

I agree with you in terms of the EOY Bitcoin price of $100k because if you look at the wider rand of things, exactly a year ago on this same date June 14, Bitcoin was trading around $9k+ and from the look of things in a daily bitcoin chat, we could get back to a more upward trend in price again before this June ends, I personally believe that Bitcoin is still very much Bullish even with the correction.

There's nothing impossible with the bitcoin market we experience a lot of weeks into the bullish market and not all the time we might experience having these green days, if the bitcoin can sustain with this 35k USD price there's nothing impossible with the 100k price but still, before it comes it still needs to have a corrections again the halving is for the upcoming year of 2024 so might happen the another bump or increase of the market price of the bitcoin, just know the risk management to handle all the possible ways of the bitcoin.

I still haven't given up hope that it will reach $100K this year. What I do see is more and more opinions from people who are discouraged, because we have been sideways for a while. We are bad used to it because we come from a time when we were beating ATH after ATH day in and day out.

If you will just base on history and thinking that it will repeat this time then it might be possible.

I'm also thinking of a higher price peak by the end of the year possible $100,000 but we are in the first half of the year and the price of Bitcoin is at near $40,000 right now. If what happened in 2013 and 2017 will happen again then its true that we might see Bitcoin at $100,000 or at least near to the price before the bear market begins. Either way, I'm always ready into whatever happen to it. I have plans on both scenarios (bull and bear market). As of this moment though, it seems that we are moving sideways as we saw in the last weeks.

Well we have heard predictions that at the end of the year we might see $100k.

But we need to wait if it will happen or not, because after reaching $64k, the market suddenly went into bearish mode. At least if we look at past history, the comparison is still with 2013. So everyone gets excited as the price could go as high as $100k-$200k. But it will take a lot of time, and lot of challenges, like the current market sentiments.

You're right, the bitcoin trend will always be there and in the future it will be. there will always be good news for bitcoin, but not all can make a high increase. but one thing that everyone should know bitcoin fundamentals are very strong, so it doesn't matter if the price is currently down, because the bitcoin trend will always be there.

While I am in support of Bitcoin price rising. I am really unsure of Bitcoin hitting $100K this year in itself. No, this is not some kind of FUD on Bitcoin. This is me being very practical about it. Of course we have seen Bitcoin rising with a great upward swing towards $64K within this year, but since then it has collapsed and failed to hold the position among a lot of FUD.

However, it has become a very popular cryptocurrency since this year and grabbed the attention of government and companies. So i could see it rise and close the year at around $75K. But i dont see it going beyond $100K within this year - though i most dearly wish that it rises beyond that too!

it depends on the trend. for example not every year we have a very long and big bear market, it only happens every once in a while. last time it was 2018 that is 3 years ago already.
or not every year we have a massive bubble and this one was 4 years ago and may repeat this year if price reaches $300k to $400k after people panic sold above $100k

We can only make assumptions or say can have speculative approach towards Bitcoin prices and it might it $100k also if the past history charts repeat again when they were surged to ATH of $19800 in 2017.Similarly this year they reached ATH of $64k with Coinbase listing and from then market is bearish but we can't accurately predict thr future levels.If investment are made then it can boost the prices and support above $45k or so in Q3 of 2021.So let's hope for best.

100k is very possible but for the near future I don't think it can be achieved where like previous years when bitcoin will go up without brakes there is bad news about it, from one country to another, until the tweet of an Elon Musk can be used as a decision where btc goes up and down , when he said hold/buy bitcoin  back btc will up

Price manipulation is always done, whether it's through Elon's tweets or through some FUDs that have been heard lately.
To reach a new ATH at $100k, it is not easy. There will be many obstacles to overcome. Of course this will play with the mentality of Holders who have BTC. Nothing is impossible, everything can happen in an instant. The market is set and has followed the trend. Just waiting for the moment when the market starts to be bullish.

To be honest BTC is looking very bullish from a technical standpoint on the higher timeframes especially on the monthly. Weekly TF doesn't look bad neither. I guess 30-40% drops are still part of the growing pains of this asset.

Everything is possible in crypto especially to BTC wherein adoption happens mostly. Its undeniably visible how bitcoin is able to gain supporters as well manipulators in just a span of months like bow Elon manipulates the market this year. Bitcoin which have still room for more adoption by the government or individuals due to its usefulness will determine how it can affect the market more.
