100k is very possible but for the near future I don't think it can be achieved where like previous years when bitcoin will go up without brakes there is bad news about it, from one country to another, until the tweet of an Elon Musk can be used as a decision where btc goes up and down , when he said hold/buy bitcoin  back btc will up

Price manipulation is always done, whether it's through Elon's tweets or through some FUDs that have been heard lately.
To reach a new ATH at $100k, it is not easy. There will be many obstacles to overcome. Of course this will play with the mentality of Holders who have BTC. Nothing is impossible, everything can happen in an instant. The market is set and has followed the trend. Just waiting for the moment when the market starts to be bullish.

You say that but the fact that BTC market recovered from the low 30K to over 40K just today does suggest that we might be in the clear. It is not yet 100% confirmed but if the upward trend continues we might find ourselves in a bull run before we know it - just be patient a little longer

If we all believe btc will hit 100k by year end and each and everyone of us buy as much as we could now that the price is still at 40k or below, we could see btc getting close to 100k even before year end, i wonder how many people is actually taking advantage of this opportunity and buy some btc at this current market price! i also have a strong feeling that wed haven't seen the end of bull run just yet, hopefully that 100k target will be achieved this year.

I would like to take this opportunity to purchase Bitcoin if it really reaches $100k but the risks are higher and the past one and a half years were not great for me financially except for the investment i was holding for a long time, if not for that i would be selling my condo because i lost my job when the pandemic started and i cannot risk my savings now. I am sure most will be going through that phase and if the market rallies i will be booking my coins which i am holding for the past several years and enter after the correction and that is my plan.

You have back your claim with some facts. You are saying the price is going to go to $100k and then there are others that are saying the price will go below $20k. Sadly, none of you guys are properly able to justify your claims. $100k within the end of the year is too much. Would rather prefer a slow, healthy growth instead of seeing the price skyrocket. The faster is grows, the more fear and greed it creates. Fear and greed, both are bad.

Many things have happened that trigger for the trend of Bitcoin to make happen this year. This have all started when the price of Bitcoin have a breakthrough after 3 years ever since it have made out its biggest ATH which is $20,000 and have attained more than that at the late months of year 2020 that have been brought even at the start of this year 2021. Bitcoin's value has keep rising up on which have break through reaching $60,000 at the first months of this year because of different news trends that hype up Bitcoin usage and popularity. As a person that have been into Bitcoin for many years, this year become its trend even the market is currently getting into declination.

I agreed with the OP point of view about the big market to happen after the big growth in price of the Bitcoin market but the major problem we are having is that most of the crypto currency investors mostly focus on the positive direction of the market and forget that market usually repeat previous trend when it bullish market but for the price of Bitcoin to reach $100K before the end of the year is something I am not quite sure about cause the market forod bath ought to before then if the market still replicates previous bullish market.

I do hope so because a lot of cryptocurrencies that are new and old are starting to gain some tractions that might overshadow bitcoin in a way that it might hinder with a potential bigger growth for bitcoin but given that bitcoin is still the face of cryptocurrency, I think we are still going strong for another year or so.

The current mood in crypto markets is not similar to that during the collapse of prices in 2017, when everyone expected a short period of consolidation before the upward momentum, which never came.

We are now waiting for the latest update of Bitcoin (Taproot), which is supposed to significantly improve the blockchain network of BTC. The update will improve the privacy of Bitcoin, speed up transaction speeds and reduce the amount of data stored and transferred to the blockchain.

This could lead to a much different and better market performance than in previous years and really lead Bitcoin to $ 100K levels.

Yes, I think it is possible to get to 100k but not that likely if you look at the exponential rise to get to the all time high earlier.  A cool off period to shake out the weak hands is good and necessary.  Let it settle it, 100k will come with time but it may take a while in my opinion.

when BTC really hits $100k or is still in the $70-$80k area people will start to enter BTC and this will be the biggest BTC bullrun wave ever.
Currently BTC has even given a positive signal by holding it at the $30k support and rising again to try to reach a new ATH.
BTC will always provide unexpected surprises.
