It's just about the community that supports it. That's the common thing in the crypto market, the investors will support projects that are not good enough but with good marketing. They don't care about the devs as long as the market has been well marketed and they can conclude that there's a 'potential' and 'future' on it. And as for the meme coins that have flew very well, thanks to the master of it and the most common guy that we all know who has started all of it.

It's the matter of how they will promote it, some where able to gain supporters due to their ads or personalities they use in making their projects known. If the project have potential and a good marketing team there will be no problem in their project soon it will be noticed by the community.

let say every good project, have a whales inside it , and whenever big "movement" come , they immediately sold all of it. so what about meme coins ? mostly just a amateur trader who come for x100 ++ and real whale inside that project, that why sometimes we see different movements.

everything in the market today is affected by hype. So it's normal that you see meme coins better than quality projects with real use. this is just fomo, but now things are starting to get back to normal. people's enthusiasm for coin memes like DOGE has started to wane. arguably in the crypto market, hype can beat all things. with just a few tweets from influential people then the market will move.

We should all trust the legit coins. Investors and traders are looking for quick money from meme coins but in the end, most of them understand greed only leads to loss. Currently, the market is running sideways I would say we should trust the legit coins they will also rise in the coming months keep faith in it. Don't distract by the meme coins.

Sad to say it's because they want a faster way to profit with high-risk meme coins. It's the truth that is difficult to accept.

Memecoin is currently very popular because it is promoted by Elon Musk. I believe that if Elon Musk had not supported and promoted Dogecoin, this coin would not have soared high. Of the thousands of cryptos and tokens that exist, there is a big competition on the markets that requires huge promotion as well. Promotions by famous and influential people really trigger the price to go up. But coins that do not have a working product and great benefits, after soared the price will definitely drop and it will be difficult to increase again.

meme coins are doing well because there is a lot of people that are doing pump-and-dump and gamble-only investment schemes, and that would always be the case in new industries, you cannot expect that all people will be honest, could you?
but, and this should not be taken as advise, I tend to stick with projects that have something behind them to support their development during harsh times and bear market, and meme coins are usually just up during bull markets

The worst part will come when it will end since a lot of people will remain with useless tokens emitted in billions units! I think it's not DEV fault about this, they are seeking a profit unless is really viable as product.

The reason is clear, someone wants to destroy the market. Memecoins are supported not only by Musk, but also by major exchanges such as Binance and Kucoin. Binance was interested in successful projects in the past years, but nowadays they lists and also promotos for manipulating memes price. And it seems that the generality is already hypnotized. What decentralization can we talk about in this case, everyone goes downhill blindfolded and the end of this road does not look good at all.

Probably the market has been saturated already.

And it's easy to make money right now in crypto, just create a meme coin promote it that's it. So devs are not thinking a real utility or token that can change the world. Now every one is greedy, not scamming per se, but just creating projects that will be used to pump and dump. And then create a new hype, rinse and repeat.

Those are short term speculators, once they have done with the pump to those shit coins and they will be going back again to the quality coin. They are only aiming to make fast money from the shitcoins and that's why you have seen that the demand for the quality coins have been decreasing compared with the opposite trend that was happening with the legit coin. This trend will not be so long. It will be the same like the defi trend.

This is mainly because the cryptocurrency market is not mature enough right now. There are lot of people who will invest in memecoin or shitcoin just because some reddit page or some tweet being circulated. Also, a lot of people get attracted to a coin which shows very low value (like Shiba Inu) and believe that the value will increase substantially, without considering the fact that the total supply is in quadrillions/trillions and it would need hell lot of investment from people to actually grow in value.

Also, marketing of some shitcoins and memecoins is done in such a way that people tend to go for it rather than rationally discussing on the project or seeing the value of such project.

Legit coins such as Cardano and BNB are doing relatively well. I would even say that they are slightly overpriced. It is entirely another topic that shitcoins such as XRP and Dogecoin are overpriced by a factor of 10x or even 100x at current levels. So you can't say that good coins are doing well. And regarding shitcoins, the bubble will burst soon and they will see a very sizable correction. Anyone holding these coins are going to face crippling losses (as it has happened manytimes before in the cryptocurrency market).

Meme coins that fly if they fall will not be able to get back up, in contrast to projects that are really quality even though the process is a bit long but will not be easily thrown to the bottom. Don't get caught up in greed.
